Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Please remember to:

  • Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the   button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp.
  • Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!

June 2022

Hello, I'm Interstatefive. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to Elsie Mackay (actress) because they seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. interstatefive  (talk) - just another roadgeek 15:51, 1 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Elsie Mackay, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lost at Sea. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:04, 2 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Elsie Mackay (actress) edit

edit

I have reverted your addition of a link to Find A Grave to Elsie Mackay (actress). Find A Grave is not a reliable source for use in the text of Wikipedia articles. (See WP:USERGENERATED.) Additionally, even if the source were reliable it should be added as a cited reference, not inserted as an external link in the text. (See WP:CS:EMBED.) Editing

edit

I find it hilarious, that people can leave all sorts of misinformation on a page and not care about it whatsoever. Then once someone comes in and starts to fix the mistakes, all of a sudden they want to be the edit police..... smh....... don't message me with petty b.s. YouBozo (talk) 02:05, 9 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Fixing mistakes is commendable, but if the source used for the added material is not reliable, I don't see how the article is improved. How does anyone know that the information from Find A Grave is correct? If the Find A Grave page cites a reliable source, then the content could be cited to that source. Unlike the people you mentioned in your first sentence, I am concerned when misinformation appears on a page. That's why I emphasize the importance of using reliable sources. Eddie Blick (talk) 02:54, 9 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

If Wikipedia really wants to be useful in regards to what's misinformation on the web, they would create a proper gallery so that the photos that are available through Wikicommons would be attached to the proper page. YouBozo (talk) 17:34, 9 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

I tried to resolve most of them and some little squirrel removed half of what I attached..... some people's children...... YouBozo (talk) 17:36, 9 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

And to whoever keeps removing the links to Find a Grave.... you're an idiot ! nuff said. . YouBozo (talk) 02:39, 10 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

To hell with you idiots if you don't want facts !!!!! Wasting my time doing research for you damned cry-babies.... You must be lost and confused millennials.

You people aren't interested in facts.... obviously. Otherwise you would read something before deleting it. I'm through wasting my time here for people that have no professionalism whatsoever..... YouBozo (talk) 19:13, 12 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
