- Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
- Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
- In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
- Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
- Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like
<ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>
, copy the whole thing). - In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
- If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:
==References== {{Reflist}}
Latine edit
But "laine" can be interpreted as being pronounced as Lateen or Latini, so can be confused with that. "Latine" is modern Spanish for the English term Latinx In addition, in the Latin language, "latine" can refer to several topics on Latin (disambiguation). So I don't see how the confusion hatnote is not a good idea. -- 65.92.247.66 (talk) 07:07, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry, it seems I made a mistake. You're right. I reverted my reversion. Thank you for the edits and for letting me know. XabqEfdg (talk) 07:09, 3 April 2024 (UTC)

Hip Hop Edit Request edit
Could you change the Hip Hop template to look more like this?
This template's initial visibility currently defaults to autocollapse
, meaning that if there is another collapsible item on the page (a navbox, sidebar, or table with the collapsible attribute), it is hidden apart from its title bar; if not, it is fully visible.
To change this template's initial visibility, the |state=
parameter may be used:
{{XabqEfdg|state=collapsed}}
will show the template collapsed, i.e. hidden apart from its title bar.{{XabqEfdg|state=expanded}}
will show the template expanded, i.e. fully visible.

- Hello. I don't know enough about the template to know whether or not this is acceptable. Perhaps try posting the above on the talk page, with the template {{Edit semi-protected}}. You may also want to consider creating an account so that you can make these changes yourself.
- Also, remember not to include categories on user talk pages. I removed them by putting them inside <nowiki>. XabqEfdg (talk) 23:36, 30 April 2024 (UTC)
DYK for Gerboise Verte edit
On 1 May 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Gerboise Verte, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that according to witnesses, the plutonium charge in the bomb used in the nuclear weapons test Gerboise Verte was transported in an economy car? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Gerboise Verte. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Gerboise Verte), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
