European Union Olympic medals count for 2004

Hi there,

I wonder would you consider reversing your decision to delete this article. I have substantially rewritten it. A united EU team is not going to happen. I've discussed potential EU co-operation towards the olympics, and kept the table. I believe the table is valid, for us Europeans/EUians to see how the area has fared as a whole. Please comment on my talk page if you still feel the article should be deleted.

Hi - please add a license tag to that screenshot (like {{GFDL}} or {{GPL}} or something). It's a screenshot of free software, so it's not going to be speedy-deleted, but the commons require a license tag for such screenshots (the game setup is your work after all, so you have a copyright to the image). Hey, I noticed that the Template:Sw jediknight cvg template was aligned to the left, so I went ahead and fixed it. I just copied my Template:StarFox template and filled it in with the SW links. No problem, I've been working on the City Building Series articles recently, after requesting it to be peer reviewed by the Wikipedia:WikiProject Computer and video games, now only missing Pharaoh (computer game), which I've never got into too much, so I placed up a request so all games have at least a stub (which I'm not very fond of creating, unless absolutely necessary). 06:49, 13 August 2005 (UTC) (also replied on his talk page)

Most of them are scanned, except for one I've found on my old computer - however, as only the copyright owner holds permissions, I believe you can take them from any online retailer, company page or personal gallery, as long as they are the same (this rules out custom, modified, mock-up and promotional covers), there shouldn't be any problem. If you are meaning Pharaoh, I can only provide the box from Pharaoh Gold, but as the article should (ideally) deal with both game and expansion, it might do the trick as well. ^wS;✉ 23:20, 13 August 2005 (UTC)

You make a good point if you consider "city building series" as meaning only certain publishers, but if you consider it as meaning certain developers, Cotn was developed by the same key people, especially Chris Beatrice. PNG Alpha Transparency in football kit patterns

Check out the discussion tab on Talk:Futebol_Clube_do_Porto, about the incompatibility of IE with 32bit RGBA PNG images which affects your body kit.

I hope you can fix it with your graphic designing expertise (seems simple though, as it is seems only a matter of resaving PNG images in 8 bit color depth, I guess).

I thought of trying to fix it myself, but these template might me trickier for a untrained contributors like me, as I might not have the right tools for image editing (with transparency), don't know if I would have to republish the fixed PNG in Template:Football_kit/pattern_list, etc.

It wasn't anything particulary special, that section went against a lot of style conventions and failed some guidelines with material that was unnecessary and was bloating the page above the suggested limit, so it really had to go. I'm still on part one of the edit, right now I'm starting the process of merging the two "character" sections and adding some about important NPCs (the kattas, ad avis, etc). Fell free to correct typos, grammar or factual inacuracies - it's often hard to track them after writting a large part of the text. ^wS;✉ 05:16, 9 September 2005 (UTC)

VG consoles

Yeah, sorry about forgetting the conversation. I've been known to do that :) The image looks fine, however, the random images might be a problem (i.e. some may see it as playing favorites). My suggestion is to use the GameCube, PS2, Xbox, and Dreamcast and in the image description say "video game consoles of the sixth generation era" or something to that effect. Or if you don't think it'll matter, then just use the image you made - I guess it's not that big of a deal. K1Bond007 19:16, 11 November 2005 (UTC)

Sorry about your Douro River shipwreck photo I replaced with the Kirk Pride

I felt that that wasn't a good enough example of a shipwreck; it was only partially submerged and signs of wreckage didn't show.

Fair use images

You currently have a great deal of fair use images linked on your userpage. Under United States copyright law, these images do not qualify an fair use when posted there, so they are copyright violations. Please remove them- a good way to do this is to convert them to a list of image links. For example, [[Image.jpg]] would become [[:Image.jpg]]. WP:VG Interview

This hasn't hit the mainstream yet, but today is an important day for WP:VG. We've reached our 10 year anniversary! The WP:VG Newsletter crew are interested in running a feature this quarter on the early days of WP:VG and because you are one of the earliest contributors to the WikiProject, we need your help. In the last 10 years a lot has changed and we'd love to hear your perspective on it. One of the biggest changes may be your level of participation in the WikiProject or even in Wikipedia generally. This is why I'm contacting you almost 2 months before the newsletter is due to come out (it's due on April 2). I'm hoping that you'll have time somewhere between now and then to answer a few general questions reflecting on WP:VG and Wikipedia in general. Nomination of Eurogamer for deletion
