Don't bite newcomers

The user clearly hasn't read Wikipedia policies on NPOV and original research, but that doesn't give you the right to abuse him. "AHSS selection of teachers is very poor, they choose anyone who will accept a low pay and this has affected the students a lot. An example would be the Chemistry teacher who currently teaches in AHSS grades 9 to 12, she is sexist, plays favorites, discriminates, puts her students down and makes the students feel stupid for asking questions. Some teachers can't even speak, let alone spell proper English while they teach in the SAT or IGSE streams. This school was one of the best and now its reputation is ruined and the school administration is crippled. A bad choice for your daughter or son."

Good-willed probably wasn't the best term to use, however, judging by his edit summary ("As a current graduate of the school I've updated the school reputation and the inside scoop of how the school has been running, hiring inexperienced and deranged teachers."), the user is probably fairly young, and was not deliberately meaning to ruin the credibility of Wikipedia. Instead, he/she seems to simply not understand that the material they wrote was unsuitable for an encylopaedia. Thus, one should assume good faith, and explain to the user the relevant policies, and how to contribute to Wikipedia constructively, instead of simply attacking them as you did. Chairman S. I never judge by the summary until after I read the changes. To me, that summary is a duck down way of trying to get through the users and have the page permanent. They knew what they were doing.--WhereAmI 06:56, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

My point is this: the user was not a known vandal. From the evidence at hand, it simply appeared that he/she did not understand Wikipolicy. You should not have made the assumption that he/she was a malicious vandal, and until you knew better, you should have treated him/her with a measure of civility or politesse. Of course you should have warned him/her, but you should have used a template from Wikipedia:Vandalism. Notice how none of those templates resort to personal attacks? Chairman S. The Timbaland page is now semi-protected, so IPs cannot contribute. I'm confused. Why did you endorse the "I don't see why there should be nude images in the article" viewpoint after going to the talk page and agreeing with the consensus that there should be a nude image? Your August 3rd deletions on Xbox One game list

Both of the titles you removed ARE coming to the system, which a quick google search would have told you. Instead of deleting games because there are no refs, might I suggest googling the games first and determining this before hand, and then adding the refs yourself.

Both games have been re-added. Please be more careful in the future as this adds unnecessary work for the people trying to keep the page up to date.

I removed games that went months without a source. Sorry, focus more on finding references before they're deleted for being unreferenced. A simple Google search did not return results for those games, Nero looked to be Wii U and Knight Squad official website only shows Steam Early Access. WhereAmI (talk) 21:23, 4 August 2014 (UTC)

Also secondary note: There were a lot of games that I have already went through and found more information on, please spend more time finding information for the unreferenced games instead of crying when they're deleted for not being referenced. So no google result returns when you google "Knight Squad Xbox One", or "Nero Xbox One"? It's pretty obvious you didn't put much effort into the search's before deleting them since literally the first link on the search confirms Xbox One release. --Mordecairule 23:19, 4 August 2014 (UTC)

@Mordecairule The games sat months without a source, where were you then? I gave it a quick Google then deleted it. The burden of finding a source does not fall on anyone except those who want to keep the information. See Wikipedia:Content_removal#Unsourced_information for more information. Wow, Looks Like You've Got a History

So I see other people are annoyed with your reverting their edits just like I am.

And your comment about how my "source was bad" and that Sleeping Dogs on the One could "still be a thing" was pretentious and stupid.

Well, guess what? That source I cited was more than valid and if you'd taken the time to look at the link you'd see it has the official announcement image in the article itself. The game is clearly coming to the One and the PS4. Now I have to add it again when it was perfectly acceptable before you removed it.

But hey, you obviously know everything already, so why bother doing a little research? Amirite?

Next time I'd really like you to PM me or something so I can discuss with you whether or not you need to remove one of my edits. I've been doing just fine on this page, if you check my history. I don't need you butting in.

@TenderBranson23 Well, lets start at the beginning. I reverted the edit of PS4 and Xbox One editions because of this guideline: Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. Relevant text: "Wikipedia is not a collection of product announcements and rumors." About an hour ago, when I assume you say more news of the official announcement, the game became public. My edit in reverting the addition of the game was done yesterday. What would you call information before the official announcement? For me, it's rumors and speculation, which as sourced above is not allowed on Wikipedia, and that's why I removed the game from the list. WhereAmI (talk) 16:04, 8 August 2014 (UTC)
