Yeah, this picture is like 10 years old. Heyo. I’m Nick, a data scientist from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA. I had a baby girl about a year ago five years ago (wow, has it been that long?) seven years ago (yikes!) eleven years ago (!!), which had curtailed my on-wiki time severely. I used to spend a lot of time on-wiki removing fair-use galleries from articles, but it seems that the crusade has finally been won, for the most part. Then I would Huggle in my copious free time, and lurk at WP:ANI, WP:RFA, and WP:MFD, where I occasionally chime in. I also enjoy making {{editprotected}} requests on the upcoming blurb for Today’s featured article; it has all of the cheap thrills of seeing your work on the main page, but with none of the grueling work of actually writing an FA. Nowadays, if I'm editing, I was probably reading an article and noticed a quick issue. Your notification to me

You alleged that I made an edit to a page concerning some type of molecule...

This concerns me, not because I am ashamed/guilty of any malicious act, but because I never made any such edit. Perhaps the notification of the edit was sent to the wrong I.P.; other possiblities, such as someone else operating under my I.P., are the concern I feel.

I wanted to respond to let you know that I wouldn't make any sort of joking-edit (i.e. the edit that was allegedly made on the page.. very silly), and that other nonproductive edits from this I.P. should be approached cautiously (I'm not sure what that means in substantiation).

Goodness, that notification was left way back in October 2009. IP addresses can change fairly often, so I imagine that message was not actually intended for you, but rather someone else who was using that address back then. If you enjoy editing Wikipedia and would like you avoid this issue in the future, you might consider registering an account; of course, it's not required, and IP contributions are always welcome. I made no error

I saw that the page had an error. Somebody must have let their child get on the computer while the page was open. It had the error that the cats "emerged" 25 million years ago. Now I am not going to lie to you, I have not been on too many walks in my lifetime, but not a single one of the few walks I have been on included a new species flying out from a rock or dirt mound. What luck the person that witnessed such a thing as a whole species of cat "appearing" must have had. Please don't remove comments from the talkpage.

The comments at Talk:2015 University of Oklahoma Sigma Alpha Epsilon racism incident are part of an ongoing discussion about whether or not to tone down the discriminatory tone towards the fraternity brothers and whether or not the Obama administration flouted the separation of powers. New edits

Hi Nick. I fundamentally disagree with this edit, which removed relevant information and was done without consensus. The fact that Boren's action was "illegal" is not excessive information; it is new information. The same goes for the fact that Boren's actions reflect badly on the university. I also disagree with this edit, which added some information about another chapter, which is off topic. I also believe this edit is not particularly helpful, as it is a direct quote. I still don't feel welcome on that page, but others at the WP will be interested as it falls within its scope (constitutional issue), so the tag should not have been removed. Thanks for your recent bold clerking experiment at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Wbm1058, but I feel that consensus at Wikipedia talk:Requests for adminship/Wbm1058#Location of comments was against what you did. Over the past few hours, I've messed about quite a bit with that RfA, and basically undone all your hard work. I'm too tired to find diffs and links and stuff; I trust you can find and understand my changes. I hope you find the "hatting" compromise, which is currently implemented, okay. I genuinely do appreciate the bold efforts you made to improve the RfA format, but I worry it might have been at the expense of Wbm1058 and his RfA.
