Welcome again edit

My dearest friend, you are welcome to wikiproject Lebanon, you are obviously very enthusiastic about wikipedia _ i was too when i first joined this community _ but you need to learn a couple of things about this place first. I posted earlier a number of links to guide you through your first steps on Wikipedia. As i said, i've noticed you are very enthusiastic about Wikipedia that you labeled yourself as a veteran editor, you are most welcome to post a service award when you earn it, and i see you are still a newly registered user with no history of significant contributions , you can go here to read when you can post a service award to your profile. This may be a bit confusing but i am here to guide you through the details, write to my talk page when you need any assistance. Happy editing, Elie Eli+ 18:11, 27 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Let's talk about references edit

Hi William What you know may be true, but you have to prove what you write when it is challenged... How can you do it? Using references. You Must use proper citation especially when writing about controversial matter (like prostitution in Lebanon and it's "diplomatic" incumbencies). go to WP:cite and read how to add references to your edits. Eli+ 19:38, 27 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

These are examples on how to write a citation

For a book:

<ref name="MM">{{Cite book | publisher = Kregel Publications | isbn = 0825425247, 9780825425240 | pages = 261 | last = Edwards | first = Sue | coauthors = Kelly Mathews, Henry J. Rojers | title = Mixed Ministry: Working Together as Brothers and Sisters in an Oversexed Society | date = 2008 }}</ref>

For a web page:

<ref name="tourism">{{Cite web | last = Lebanese Ministry of Tourism | title = Ministry of Tourism :: Destination Lebanon | accessdate = 2009-12-27 | url = http://www.lebanon-tourism.gov.lb /SiteDetails.aspx?Sites=128 }}</ref>

The text will show as a link to the pages you cites when you add this template

<references/>

 Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In the future, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thank you. HamburgerRadio (talk) 20:20, 27 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:Stankoviccupleabnon2010.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Stankoviccupleabnon2010.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 15:01, 15 July 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey (talk) 15:01, 15 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Elie Rustom edit

Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Elie Rustom. The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:10, 6 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Joey Accaoui edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Joey Accaoui requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. {{admin help}} <why i'm blocked from editing??>

There is no direct block on this account, and it does not seem to be autoblocked. Try to edit the WP:Sandbox. If you can, you are not blocked. If you cannot, copy below here the message that you get. JohnCD (talk) 08:19, 18 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
