In around 2016 i got fascinated about Wikipedia, and started editing it, everything was perfect until unaware of Wikipedia policies i accidentally made Wikipedia username on my real name, as i am a musician from india having notable enough articles to pass wp:gng and this took some time to get these reliable sources, but again as a kid i did this mistake earlier, and then to try to make other wiki and recreating my page also multiple times led me into the scenario of sock puppetry and i always ended up my and others Wikipedia articles deleted which i created from different accounts, now the scenario is this that i really want a BIG HELP from some one over here as i am fed up of this block game, i want it to be resolved because i know multiple people too who did this mistake as a startup on Wikipedia but now are doing good having their own articles created from different names etc, i am ready to go through a process where i am even ready to sign some legal things for the Assurity that those mistakes which i did I WILL NOT DO THEM AGAIN, but all i want is i want to be on Wikipedia happily editing and increasing my account statistics like a good Wikipedian do, i just want to speak the truth now and confess as i know that my chance of getting unblocked are null, I feel like a criminal when i see the Sockpuppet Directory due to which other good pages have suffered as well, my identity is Vivek Verma and i have been multiple banned for abusing Wikipedia under user:Vivek.k.Verma, please guide me, i REALLY REALLY want this time not to hide anything, I want that I must get known by my name and not be blocked being called a sock puppet under the checkuser. I accept i did those mistakes, but because of my foolishness there are multiple deserving pages which are suffering by being deleted under G5, I request please someone guide and help me, in these last 3 to 4 years i have been active on Wikipedia and now understand and know almost all policies, i know i have done blunders which can not be forgiven but i don't want to leave Wikipedia and want to be a decent contributor, i am ready to do anything for this!! Please guide me Please, i made multiple accounts which got blocked there is one more account which is not blocked called user:Kusnur and now i really am ashamed of my hurry of trying to get famous (we all have a fascination as a kid which i too was having but this is leading to a guilty as i now know what wikipedia is and what are its 5 pillars and other restrictions too, In case i get unblocked i really want to make the senior atleast feel good enough on the descision of unblocking me , i will make sure that i will not recreate any other account after this and will not want to recreate Vivek Verma myself ever, i did sock puppetry, infact earlier i even got paid for some of my edits which i never disclosed , but now i want to be true with every thing and if i ever repeat any mistake i will keep in my mind that i will never ever come back here, in past few years apart from Bollywood my key interest have also developed with info available around, like i hvae made pages like Aqua Line (Noida Metro), Trash Doves, Aligarh murder case with my other sock puppet accounts and have also seen my interest in contesting wp:afd and using wp:twinkle for various purpose, I know now what abusing wikipedia policy is, by doing these blunder mistakes i learened a lot, and if someone gone with these mistakes willing to do edits witrh good intentions will never ever repeat them and will prevent others too from doing it, I am a Faulty but i beg Sir/Maam please atleast try me by unblocking me with an expiry date so that, i can dedicately be active here, and i promise i will also not try to keep this username same ,i will request a change instead so that it can never even create conflict with Vivek Verma if its ever made. Well now i completely understand why i am blocked and i am aware of the wp policies too and according to Wikipedia:Standard offer i am really not trying to breake any rules, but the thing which is of my concern right now is i am getting notifications of accounts getting blocked as my socks or meatpuppets, i know my mistakes in the past and damn sure of not to repeat them ever, but the problem is the pages i had been the part in past are really notable, and due to that if someone i dont know is trying to create them are just enlarging the que of people in the sock list, please show me a way,i have previously said too that i will never ever repeat the mistakes which i had done, but these socks are damaging my reputation over here more. • Now here are the answers according to my own understanding regarding " WHY I AM BLOCKED".

1-The block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia: I am blocked, because I was using multiple accounts, and because i was a newbie and was not aware of Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines i did the violation of the policies and tried making articles which did'nt meet wp:gng or was lacking wp:rs and the intention for using such alternative account in this way was not deliberated with the community guideline. This is an illegitimate reason to use an alternative account for. I won't use an alternative account in any way that not adhere to the Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines unless permissions/consensus is given. Because I want to follow the Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines.

2-Will not continue to cause damage or disruption: The points that caused disruption by me was 1) using an alternative account, which I won't use an alternative accounts ever unless permissions/consensus is given. 2) Creating pages which were having wp:coi or fails wp:gng. I won't do this ever, and i will keep in mind that my contributes to Wikipedia meets the community guideline as whole considering the time, interests, necessity, guidelines and principles. I will follow the Wikipedia:Consensus, I adhere fully to the Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines, otherwise in doubt, I will ask briefly at Wikipedia:Help desk or relevant user.

3-will make useful contributions instead: I will keep my focus in improving articles and learning more about my area of interest like WP:AFD and prevention of Wikipedia:Vandalism strictly, i will also focus strictly in Fixing the spelling/grammar, Fixing the wikilinks, Updating new information, Checking and adding references and Fixing original research issues; Wikipedia:Community portal. I won't bother me with topics who lie in the realm of subparagraph criticism, controversy, living people or are edits which do not conform how it is exact written in the guideline, and if I want to contribute a 'controversial' edit I will ask first, adhering to the Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines, before contributing, briefly if discussing this contribution is worth, so that I don't waste people time. I was and still am inspired by all Wikipedia:Principles. So when I am unblocked I will contribute to the community portal topics.Vivek.k.Verma (talk) 14:59, 12 January 2020 (UTC)

Why should we believe you? You have completely destroyed any trust the community has in you through your sockpuppetry and covert advertising, both of which are fundamentally dishonest acts. You may say that you were "inspired by all Wikipedia:Principles", but you have deliberately undermined them by creating ghostwritten vanity pages.
