Hello, Verde Ojo's, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Raza Unida

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Raza Unida requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://latinoprisongangs.blogspot.com/2009/09/raza-unida.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of Border Brothers

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Border Brothers requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, society, or group that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hello, @Verde Ojo's. I have retagged this page for speedy deletion. Please do not recreate it again without providing reliable sources showing the notability of the Border Brothers. Thank you! ~ Matthewrb Talk to me · Changes I've made 04:19, 8 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
Error in Template:Reply to: Input contains forbidden characters. This article has been created a number of times: in 2009, in 2012, and by you on both August 1, 2022 and August 8, 2022. I suggested a possible reference, for its August 1, 2022 creation but this was, and in my opinion correctly, rejected. The August 8, 2022 version of the article you created would again appear to meet the WP:A7 criteria for speedy deletion. I have prevented its recreation in "articlepsace". I can see you have created a an article "draft", and thank you for that. Please bear in mind that this draft may quite possibly declined or rejected for most of the same reasons that the Border Brothers article was deleted. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions about this. Peter in Australia aka --Shirt58 (talk) 10:39, 8 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm HMSLavender. I noticed that in this edit to Sonora Cartel, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 04:30, 8 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Nuevo Cartel de Sinaloa Soldados

edit

Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing hoaxes, such as Nuevo Cartel de Sinaloa Soldados, is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

Hello, @Verde Ojo's. I have tagged this page for deletion again. Please do not create articles like this without adding reliable sources showing why this group is notable. ~ Matthewrb Talk to me · Changes I've made 04:04, 12 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
From my investigation it seems probable that the article was a hoax. However, I have given you a chance to prove that it wasn't by moving it to draftspace rather than deleting it, so that you can add citations to reliable sources. Please do so as soon as possible, which must be quite soon, as you must have obtained the information from somewhere, if you didn't make it up yourself, and you must be able to say where that somewhere was. If any other editing you have done can't be cited to verifiable reliable sources then please revert that editing, to save other editors from having to search through your editing history to find what corrections are needed.JBW (talk) 08:35, 12 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Misleading edit summaries

edit

A very large proportion of your edits have edit summaries which totally misrepresent what those edits do, such as "Fixed typo" for edits which do absolutely nothing of the sort, and which in many cases make substantial changes to article content. Please make sure that your edit summaries accurately reflect what your edits do. JBW (talk) 08:41, 12 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Sonora Cartel, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page La Linea. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:11, 15 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Block

edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 3 days for continuing to make edits with misleading edit summaries, such as "Fixed typo" for edits which do nothing of the sort, and "Added content" for edits which in fact remove content. I also draw your attention to messages above, warning you of other problems, such as removing article content without explanation, and adding content without providing citations to sources. When the block is over please don't continue in the same way. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

JBW (talk) 15:56, 16 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Since the block on your account ended, every edit you have made has done one or more of the following: providing an edit summary which misrepresents what you have done, removing article content without explanation, or adding content without providing citations to sources. In view of the clear warnings you have been given, including my message to you immediately above, and in view of your total failure to ever make any sign of taking notice of messages, I seriously considered blocking you from editing indefinitely. I have, however, decided to block you on this occasion for two weeks, in the hope that you will at last take notice and change your ways. If you don't change your ways after this block, it is very likely that you will be blocked indefinitely. If you have changed your mind and would like to start contributing to the encyclopaedia in accordance with Wikipedia policies and guidelines after all, and if you think there are good reasons why unblocking you will benefit the project, you may request an unblock by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. JBW (talk) 20:51, 20 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Here are some of the edits you have made since the last block ended:
This edit had an edit summary which misrepresented what the edit did.
This edit added content not supported by the cited source; nor have I been able to find any source supporting it.
This edit likewise added unsourced information.
This edit was even worse, as it not only added unsourced information, but added it as a note to a reference rather than in the text of the article, strongly implying that it was a clarification of the reference, despite the fact that the source cited in that reference does not say anything of the sort.

In fact, since that block ended, every edit you have made has provided an edit summary which misrepresents what you have done or added content without providing citations to sources. In view of what the block notice above says, you will therefore not be at all surprised to learn that you have now been indefinitely blocked from editing. You have also still never responded to any message from any other editor.

If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text at the bottom of this page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, replacing the words "Your reason here" with a suitable message. JBW (talk)
