Archiving
Anyone can archive a long talk page. The instructions are at Help:Archiving a talk page. I've taken care ofTalk:Condom for you. WhatamIdoing (talk) 02:18, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- Hey thanks! I just haven't gotten the hang of archiving yet, so I put the tag on there so someone with more experience could do it. I recently tried to archive my own talk page and it got out of hand. I'll figure it out eventually. — Levi van Tine (t – c) 06:37, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- No problem. It's easier to do when a page already has an existing archive, particularly if it's been created with the "cut and paste" method (like Talk:Condom was) instead of the page move method. You just remove whatever's old from the talk page and paste it into the archive. WhatamIdoing (talk) 21:22, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for reminding me about my 'sassy edit description' XD Yeah, I can be a bit difficult sometimes. It's just that the LAST editor before me missed that one! Did you catch my request to protect the page on the talk page? It's a very frequent target of vandalism and I'm sure I'm not the only one chafing under that much editing. Tubularbells1993 (talk) 15:34, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- You can propose semi-protection at WP:RFPP, but be sure the page is eligible under the protection policy. I think an admin could go either way on it, honestly—there's a little bit of recent vandalism, but not that much. — Levi van Tine (t – c) 14:37, 29 March 2009 (UTC)

Assistance
I noticed you've done a lot of work with video game articles, so I've come to request your help. Currently,Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver is at GA status, and I'm hoping to work on it and get it to FA status. So I was hoping you could take a look some time and give me some feedback and advice on how to improve it and make that possible. Thanks! The Clawed One (talk) 06:12, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
- Sure! I'll take a look at it soon. Is there anything in particular you'd like me to focus on? Also, have you considered opening a peer review for it? — Levi van Tine (t – c) 10:27, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
- In the past I had several peer reviews done, but they weren't more helpful. The article actually got more feedback for improvement when I entered its GA nomination than from the peer reviews. As for anything specific, I'm told the article is in need of copyedit. My understanding of copyedit is shaky, so that would probably be my main concern now. Anything else you may notice that needs work, just let me know and I'll work on it. Thanks for your help! The Clawed One (talk) 16:42, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image (Image:AVPRConcept.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:AVPRConcept.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 02:26, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for your participation in my recent Request for adminship. Thanks again also for your work on getting Planescape: Torment up to GA, and your work so far on Neverwinter Nights 2. I think you said before that you were interested in other D&D articles; we've also gotten Gary Gygax, Wizards of the Coast, Dragons of Despair, Drizzt Do'Urden, Forgotten Realms, Tomb of Horrors, Dwellers of the Forbidden City, White Plume Mountain, The Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth,Expedition to the Barrier Peaks, Dragonlance, and Against the Giants up to GA; Dave Arneson andDrow (Dungeons & Dragons) are our next hopefuls, and we'd love to collaborate with you on other D&D video games articles.
Plus, I think I noticed you on the comics talk page before, and our GA drive there has produced Spider-Man,Spider-Man: One More Day, Silver Age of Comic Books, Alex Raymond, Winnie Winkle, LGBT themes in comics, Hergé, and Pride & Joy (comics); there are thousands more comics articles where those came from!
Well, happy editing regardless of what you choose to work on next. :) BOZ (talk) 03:51, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
- Hi! Congrats on adminship, I know you'll do well. And I was thinking, if you're interested we could continue the collabo. How about creating a Neverwinter Nights topic and getting it to good topic status? Just a thought; I definitely think it's possible. — Levi van Tine (t – c) 07:10, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
- (sorry to butt in here). I think that that would be a good goal (and I'll try to help out more with some of the other ones so that you aren't all on your own!) –Drilnoth (T •C • L) 12:01, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
- Sounds like an excellent long-term goal. I don't think NWN has a page like Baldur's Gate (series), so we would probably need one. :) BOZ (talk) 16:39, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
- I'll start on the series article; it's been on my to-do list anyways. You know I was thinking, why don't we start a Dungeons & Dragons taskforce in WP:VG? It would give us a centralized place to collaborate on these articles, especially for wide-ranging goals like good/featured topics. I for one plan on editing D&D game articles for some time, and I'm sure we can find other editors who would be interested. Thoughts? — Levi van Tine (t – c) 06:48, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
- A task force isn't a bad idea, just to focus your efforts. I don't have a lot of experience with D&D video games. But I do a lot of work on video game articles in general, and you can always ask me for help if you guys are in a bind. Randomran (talk) 07:47, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
- A task force would probably make sense. For the good topic, would it make more sense to try to do NWN2 as a good topic rather than the whole series, at least at first? With the series there's also things likeNeverwinter Nights (AOL game) and List of characters in the Neverwinter Nights series, both of which could be quite a bit more tricky than just focusing on the NWN2 games. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 11:55, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
- I was thinking the same thing. It could be called "Neverwinter Nights 2" and include the title article, Mask of the Betrayer, Storm of Zehir, and Mysteries of Westgate. The first three would fit all of the requirements for a good topic (as soon as they pass GAN, of course), and the last one hasn't been released yet and so could be considered an "audited article of limited subject matter". At any rate, I'll get to work on creating the taskforce and we can hammer out the details there. — Levi van Tine (t – c) 12:09, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
- Sounds like a plan. –Drilnoth (T •C • L) 14:48, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
- If you're going to create a taskforce, don't forget this; you'll want to include all of those games, I'm sure, as well as anything else in those categories. :) BOZ (talk) 15:46, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
- Indeed, thanks for the reminder. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 16:09, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

Re: possible FA
You wanted my opinions, be careful what you wish for:
- Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron: Overall pretty good, though there is some stuff that might benefit from organization (such as perhaps merging the stubby future section into "release"?) Prose looked decent on a first run-through, but there are some sticky parts that would get you in trouble at FAC. You should also pay attention to making the plot section accessible to non-Star Wars fans. The images also need beefed up fair use rationales; adding content about how the game's graphics were conflictingly received should suffice forFile:RenegadeScreen.jpg, but the character image is not the subject of in-text commentary and should probably be removed. The sections are of a decent length, but if you want I'll send you whatever print sources I can find so the article's more comprehensive.
- Marvel Trading Card Game: More issues with images probably not meeting non-free content criteria. The prose in this one seems choppier, and a bit abrupt in points (for instance, starting the article body with "The game was designed to portray the VS System " = badddd.) As with the other, there's a decent amount of content but offline sources might beef it up substantially.
- Dead Head Fred: More of the same in regards to stubby sections that might be better merged, images needing to be removed or have beefed-up rationales, and somewhat dense prose that needs to be opened so that laypeople can understand the game a bit more.
Overall the games are fine starts, but they need some polish. My suggestion is aside from sprucing up the article to get involved with reviewing Featured Article Candidates, at least fellow video game FACs but others if you're so inclined. You'll get a feel for what the process demands and I find that especially involving prose it helps me with the quality of my own writing. Cheers, --Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 13:16, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you! I'll take you up on that offer for offline sources; my access to them is limited. — Levi van Tine (t – c) 13:26, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
- Okey dokey. I'll start with Dead Head Fred, actually, as I feel that's the most complete and comprehensive of what you've got so far. I'll try and send you a .zip by the end of this week or the beginning of the next.--Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 13:28, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Chocolate Castle 2nd opinion
The development section of Chocolate Castle. Do you think there is any undue weight placed on the developer as opposed to the game itself? I'm currently doing a GA review on it, and I'm asking for an outside opinion on it. MuZemike 14:40, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
- Yep, I'm afraid so. It needs less on the developer, more on the game. Chocolate Castle is only mentioned once in it, and the mention isn't explicitly about it, just the development time overlapping with another title. It's an indie game from a small company, but there's got to be more info floating around for it. — Levi van Tine (t –c) 15:05, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
