Hello, I am CarpetCrawler. I am a semi-retired editor of the project, whom will mostly stop by to say hello, or just check up on things. My main interests in Wikipedia were comic books and music, but I am also a fan of sports (Mainly basketball,) professional wrestling and any form of media (Television, film, written,) so expect to find me editing articles in those places, too.

Main areas of expertise

My main focus in Wikipedia was to improve music articles. I am a fan of ALL kinds of music, like pop, rock, jazz, progressive rock, folk, country, metal, heavy metal, some hip hop, funk, disco, dance music, amongst MANY others. My biggest area of expertise when it comes to music is when it is relative to my favorite bands and artists.

I am also a big comic book fan, and am specifically a fan of the characters, Henry Pym and Janet van Dyne, better known as "The Wasp". Marvel better bring her back, damnit! :(

Other than editing articles, I also spent a lot of time volunteering at Wikipedia's "Did You Know?", reviewing nominations, as well as nominating some of my own. I also spent time reviewing articles at Wikipedia's Good Article Nominee's. My main areas of expertise at Wikipedia's Good Article section were music, sports, and television.

My philosophy

My philosophy was to always make sure to be courteous, kind and generous. One thing I liked to do was give out barnstars, whether it be for doing some impeccable and great work on an article, or for something small like cleaning vandalism off of my userpage, or just being there to help me out. Life is too short for anyone to not be rewarded for their efforts, even if it's a silly online award or banner.
