Hey there! Please note that currently my schedule is allowing me to visit WP only one or two times a week. If you'd like a response sooner, please feel free to click on "E-mail this user". Peace, —Turangalila

Wow, I just saw that this failed. That's ridiculous, since there was only one vote. I mean, there wasn't consensus to promote it, but the wait for vote should be a little longer... Oh well, let's work on it more and spur the project's interest in !voting for it. ALTON .ıl 05:29, 7 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Messiaen... edit

I thought I would let you know that I have added a Recordings section to the Saint-François d'Assise article. Enjoy! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mungobuh (talkcontribs) 17:53, 15 May 2007 (UTC).Reply

Editing Spano Article as per Peer Review edit

Hey Turangalila! Just wanted to let you know I'm working on the changes described as per the comments by Awadewit at the Peer Review. Take a look and see what you think, I've done about half of the suggested changes. I wonder where we could get a pic of him actually conducting? Groove1279 14:28, 16 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Composer infoboxes edit

You recently spoke, on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Composers or Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Opera, against the blanket removal of infoboxes from articles about composers, or in an attempt to reach a compromise solution. Despite around a dozen people doing so, there are claims that consensus for their blanket removal was reached. You may be interested in the ongoing debate on the former talk page. I just found your proposal on the Classical Composer page, and while I'm not a member of that project I like the work you've done so far. I especially like it's application toward modern composers (ie. your example of Duke Ellington). Good luck with it, and I hope something useful comes out of your work. Hewinsj

Infobox composer: technical stuff edit

Hi there. Nice work with the draft composer infobox. In response to your questions at WP:INFOWATCH, I've posted some technical answers at User talk:Turangalila/sandbox/Infobox composer. I wasn't sure if this was the location you meant, so I though I'd better leave a message here too. If you have any more questions, just ask. Good luck! - 52 Pickup 07:41, 30 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Contemporary music edit

Hi Turangalila, your username suggests to me that you may have some interest in modern music? I just thought I’d ask if you would be interested in joining the new WikiProject Contemporary music I’m working on setting up. Cheers, --S.dedalus (talk) 07:18, 3 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Josquin des Prez Featured article review edit

I have nominated Josquin des Prez for a featured article review here. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets featured article criteria. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. If substantial concerns are not addressed during the review period, the article will be moved to the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Delist" the article's featured status. The instructions for the review process are here. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 23:01, 4 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
