This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Krai album, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.whatrecords.co.uk/items/60779.htm.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Assistance with your COI issue edit

Hello Trincres17, I have good news for you: One of my "hobbies" here at Wikipedia is helping people with a conflict of interest get articles created or edited the way they want (insofar as that is possible within Wikipedia rules), and your situation has come to my attention. I see that you have worked on a number of articles and draft articles since creating your account. It's unlikely that I will be able to help you with all of them, but if you would pick one or two articles you most want assistance with, I'll see what I can do.

When replying to this message, please copy and paste GrammarFascist (it will display as just my username, but Wikipedia's software will alert me to your reply) somewhere in your response. If you don't, it could be days (or longer) before I see you have responded. Also don't forget to use a colon : at the beginning of every paragraph to indent your response, and to put four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your response so that it's "signed" with your username and timestamp. —GrammarFascist contribstalk 00:20, 25 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

GrammarFascist. Hi, Thanks a lot for noticing my predicament and offering to help, it is much appreciated. In terms of Artist pages that I would appreciate help with the most, I would focus on maybe 2 or 3 initially. Foxtrott is one that I tried to set up via the article recommendation area of Wikipedia, but was rejected. I still have the text saved if you need it? Along with this, there are warnings looming over Fufanu, God Damn (band) and Olga Bell, it would be nice to clear these up somehow? I'm sure you have the knowledge. Thanks, Joe Trincres17 (talk) 16:36, 28 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
Just to reassure you, Trincres17 (or Joe if you prefer), the deletion evaluation for Fufanu has already ended with the consensus reached being to keep the article; the deletion evaluation for God Damn (band) has voting currently at 5 to keep and only 2 to delete; and it does not appear Olga Bell was ever nominated for deletion. The other notices at the top of each of those pages are found on many thousands of Wikipedia articles, and just mean that Wikipedia is aware the articles should be improved. (To link to any Wikipedia article from within Wikipedia, just put double square brackets around the article title, like so: Fufanu will display as Fufanu.)
I will evaluate the availability of sources to establish the notability of Draft:Foxtrott (Wikipedia has saved it as well) and, if there seem to be good reliable sources for that, I will start with it. Note that one benefit to being involved with the label, in terms of Wikipedia policies, is that it should be relatively easy for you to get photos which can be uploaded with the appropriate license for use in each of these articles.
I will probably only be able to work on one article about artists you represent at a time, aside from perhaps some minor edits. You should consider what your second choice of band/musician should be in case it looks like there are not (yet) enough reliable sources to establish Foxtrott's notability. Be aware, however, that the draft article will be saved so long as it is being worked on at least every few months, so waiting for articles to be written in major publications, then citing those properly in the draft and resubmitting, would be an option. Articles can be resubmitted indefinitely.
I know Wikipedia has a number of policies and guidelines and it can all be a bit bewildering to newcomers. Don't hesitate to ask if you have more questions, either by copy and pasting GrammarFascist here, or by going to the Teahouse. Just as a reminder, though, while you are not forbidden from editing articles for which you have a conflict of interest, you are discouraged from doing so. It's better to post on the Talk page of the article in question stating what additional information, correction or other edit you think should be made is. You can find instructions for making such a request at Wikipedia:Edit requests. —GrammarFascist contribstalk 18:49, 28 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
 • Unfortunately, it appears that Foxtrott does not meet Wikipedia's notability standard at this time. You should keep an eye out for in-depth articles about her, her albums, and/or her performances; articles should be at least a full page (for magazines), and ideally run multiple pages. A minimum of two such articles (that are not simply interviews, though they can include quotes from her) from notable publications are needed in order for Foxtrott to be eligible for a Wikipedia article. I did make a few improvements to the draft including adding a new source and putting in source information for a quotation that was in the draft but unattributed.
I am now going to evaluate the artists for whom you previously tried to create an article which was deleted. Perhaps one of them can have an article after all. —GrammarFascist contribstalk 22:03, 28 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
GrammarFascist, Hi, Thank you so much for your continued help. Wild Palms (band) is another article i created that appears to be up for deletion soon, it might might worth some editing to ensure that it complies with Wikipedia guidelines and standards to help avoid deletion. Trincres17 (talk) 11:15, 30 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
I have contributed to the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Wild Palms (band) with a vote to keep the article. The voting is now tied. Note that you can also vote in that discussion; just be sure to identify yourself as an employee of the label.
On another note, you described that article as "another article i created" but the page history shows Joewood91 as the page creator. You should know that on Wikipedia, using more than one account is strongly discouraged (in some ways even more so than editing with a conflict of interest) and may be considered a sign of wrongdoing. If you are the sole person operating both accounts (Joewood91 and Trincres17), you should declare that on both user pages, and also choose one account to use and stop using the other one. Whichever account you choose to stop using can be marked with a
duplicate account notice on its user page.
Accounts should also only be used by one individual, not shared by multiple users. The policy is one account for one person, to put it simply.
Also, don't forget to address my questions about Krai (album) below. —GrammarFascist contribstalk 12:56, 30 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Article about Olga Bell's Krai album edit

Great news! Olga Bell's album Krai, for which you previously tried to create a Wikipedia article, is sufficiently notable to have its own article. I will begin working on it now. You will be able to view the draft at this link: Krai (album). You can leave any suggestions or corrections here, just be sure to paste my username code so that Wikipedia notifies me. —GrammarFascist contribstalk 23:40, 28 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

 • I've run into something that confuses me. Some sources say Krai was released on New Amsterdam Records, but others say One Little Indian Records released the album. Can you clarify which it is? Is this maybe a US vs. UK distribution thing? Also, is there a way you can give me access to the liner notes from the album so I can fill in other performers, any co-writers, etc.? Credits for the album don't seem to be up online even at the labels' websites. As you can see in the draft, the Track listing table is kind of empty. —GrammarFascist contribstalk 01:35, 29 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
 • I've discovered my guess was correct regarding the two labels, and the distinction is now in the article with a source cited. I would still like information about album credits such as any other credited writers, credited musicians, etc.
 • Since this article is (I think) nearly ready to be upgraded from draft status, you should consider the feasibility of making an album cover image available for use on Wikipedia. A promotional image from the Krai premiere performance would also make a nice illustration for the article, if the label owns copyright to any such images.
 • Please check the draft carefully for any incorrect information. Sources, even reliable ones, aren't always 100% correct. —GrammarFascist contribstalk 06:55, 29 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
[image with incorrect licensing information removed] —GrammarFascist contribstalk
Unfortunately, the licensing information seems not to have been filled out correctly when you uploaded the Krai album art. It is listed as "Own work" — unless you personally created the layout of that album cover, this is incorrect and could lead to the image being deleted. It should probably be under a Fair Use claim, which I will gladly take care of if you could clarify whether you personally (not the label) own the copyright to the image. —GrammarFascist contribstalk 05:05, 1 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
: GrammarFascist Hi, my mistake, no I didn't personally make this artowork unfortunately but the label does own the copyright. Thanks Trincres17 (talk) 11:52, 1 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
Don't worry about it, even I find copyright confusing.   I have reuploaded a low-resolution version of the image to Wikipedia for use in the article under a Fair Use claim, which is the standard way to do things for album covers. You should delete the image you uploaded from Wikimedia Commons since it is incorrectly listed as being your own work. If the label wants to make a higher-resolution image available for use on Wikipedia — and therefore by anyone who wants to use the album art for any purpose — then you should have someone from your company's legal department contact Wikimedia Commons. I can find out more specific instructions if this seems to be something the label wants to do.
I have also promoted the draft to article status; it still needs some work, but not so much that anyone is likely to nominate it for deletion. It is now found at Krai (album). I will be happy to continue working with you on the article about Krai and in particular would like to add musician credits for whoever played the instruments Ms. Bell did not. I am still waiting for the liner notes / album credits information from you, remember. —GrammarFascist contribstalk 17:28, 1 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
GrammarFascist Hi, apologies for the delay, it has been very busy here and thanks again for your help. Here is the list of the album credits for Krai.
composed, produced and arranged by Olga Bell
lyrics: Olga Bell, Marina Bell (I, II, V, VI, VIII, IX) Traditional (III, IV, VII)
Ensemble: Olga bell - voices, synths, samples, jaw harp
Andrea Lee - cello
Grey Mcmurray - electric guitar
Gunnar Olsen - drum kit (II, II, IV, VIII), percussion, samples
Jason Nazary - drum kit (II, III, IV, VIII), vibraphone, glockenspiel, percussion, samples
Recording and Mixing: Keith Souza and Seth Manchester, Machines and Magnets
Mastering: Heba Kadry, Timeless Mastering
Cover Lettering Art: Jessica Hische.
Hope this is ok, Thanks, Joe. Trincres17 (talk) 10:02, 7 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
Yes, Joe / Trincres17, that was just what I needed. The additional information has been added to the article. I also activated the categories, which I had neglected to do when moving the draft to article space. This will make it easier for Wikipedia readers to find the article.
I think we are done with Krai, unless / until there are more singles released, or other news. Did you have a particular album or article you wanted me to create or edit next? —GrammarFascist contribstalk 20:46, 7 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
GrammarFascist Hi, Thank you very much, you've done a sterling job with Krai. There are a few acts on the label that I think are worth looking at, Wild Palms are probably one that I would begin with https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_Palms_(band). They currently have a page, but it definitely needs work, any help would be much appreciated. Trincres17 (talk) 15:28, 8 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
GrammarFascist Hi, I have also just noticed that the One Little Indian Records Wiki page has been significantly reduced. Is this something that you would possibly be able to help with as well, as it is a label with a very rich history and is worth noting all achievements, successes and accomplishments. Thanks, Joe Trincres17 (talk) 12:14, 13 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

One Little Indian Records article edit

Hello, Trincres17. It looks like information was removed from the One Little Indian Records article due to not having reliable sources cited. I already know there is such a source for Olga Bell being on One Little Indian Records, because I used it in the other article; there will probably be similar sources for other artists, but it will take time to find and attribute them all. However, you should also bear in mind that the purpose of a Wikipedia article is not to include all of any person's or organization's accomplishments; it is to provide a summary of the most significant ones. With that in mind, as I am not familiar with all of the artists whose names were removed, would you pick let's say the dozen or so you think would be most germane to the article, and I will see about finding sources so they can be added back in?

(Sorry for not having made a start on the Wild Palms article yet; I have been busy with other projects these last few days.) —GrammarFascist contribstalk 13:44, 13 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

GrammarFascist Hi, the most important artists aside from the ones already listed would be, Wild Palms, Marry Waterson, Kathryn Williams, God Damn, The Computers, Olga Bell, Big Scary. This should be fine to begin with :) Cheers Trincres17 (talk) 15:11, 24 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Well, I have added a bunch of sources, and most of the artists you listed. Since they're mentioned in the source I cited for Kathryn Williams, I thought I would also add the Pernice Brothers and The Twilight Singers, but I wasn't sure whether they should go in the past artists section or the current artists section. (Is Sinead O'Connor still with One Little Indian? If so, she should be listed; if not, do you want her listed as a past artist?) I'm also planning to source the last few names in both sections that didn't already have sources. Hope you're having a good week! —GrammarFascist contribstalk 21:59, 26 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

GrammarFascist Hi. Firstly, thanks a lot for taking a look at this. Regards to the Pernice Brothers, the Twilight Singers & Sinead, they would all be classed as past artists now as they are not currently active on One Little Indian Records. It would still be useful however to have a section for past artists, just to demonstrate the labels diverse roster. Also, some further artists that are worth adding are Cody Chesnutt, Stubborn Heart, Dan Sartain, Olof Arnalds, FiniTribe, these are all currently active. Thanks Trincres17 (talk) 13:03, 30 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

GrammarFascist Hi. I have a page that I need help with fairly urgently if you were still up for helping me out? It's an artist from One Little Indian Records called Kathryn Williams, she is actually going to send me a document at the start of next week with all of the up to date information regarding her career including citations hopefully, which will make your life much easier in theory. Would be great to hear back from you, and hope you're well. Thanks, Joe Trincres17 (talk) 17:24, 26 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Help editing a page edit

GrammarFascist Hi there, long time no speak. Hope you're well. I wondered if you could help me urgently with a page for an artist called Asgeir? A lot of the information on his page is out of date and inaccurate, what would you need from me to get this updated?

Don't delete previous labels, please. edit

It's fine you're adding One Little Indian to the Crass article but don't delete their previous label(s), please. Thanks. Yintan  15:32, 21 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
