Hello.

Hello Tomica, I just wanted to inform you that there is a discussion relating to your article on Christian Bales's filmography on the actual article about the man himself, that you may not of seen. You have a fair bit of support I might add. --Τασουλα (talk) 00:16, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

I don't see the reason for not having support. The list can obviously stay. And yeah I commented. Greetings. — Tomica (talk) 10:33, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

Stranded

Here is the link to the Rolling Stone article.

It's also listed as reference 16 on the page.

In addition, not all songs need to be released as single on iTunes, Amazon, and other digital outlets in order to be considered single. For example, this, this, and this weren't released as digital singles and are still considered singles released from the album.

However, I realize there are no radio add dates in the article. I'll try to find a radio station source.

A part from the Rolling Stone article: ... and will soon be released as a single on iTunes, according to Swizz Beatz.. Probably the label planned to release the song as a single, but later the release was scrapped. That's the reason why there is not a digital date or radio date (try finding, but I doubt you will), accordingly its simply a song that people liked and achieved pretty decent chart success. Btw "Birthday Cake" was radio released, and that's different. Regards. — Tomica (talk) 22:11, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

Christian Bale filmography copyedit

Tomica, I am really getting worried about this lead. It suffers from WP:PROSELINE and has a repetitive structure. It's the same "In this year, Bale starred in [film] and received [positive/negative] reviews; it was a commercial [success/failure]." And how is the weight loss stuff relevant? —WP:PENGUIN · [ TALK ] 15:04, 8 September 2012 (UTC)

Hey. Well, i think that the weight loss is a relevant stuff because it shows how he dedicated to professional film life [with the thing he did I mean, cause can really affect the health]. Btw, I wrote the lead using Jennifer Lopez filmography as an example, that is FL. So... how should I improve it? What to add more? There was some info about awards that some films gain, should I return them? — Tomica (talk) 15:26, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
Try to vary the structure and make it more concise rather than the repetitive "He starred in this in the year this. He was met with these reviews..." Also the "meet with x reviews" is an awkward construction and "film" is the formal way of writing "movie". —WP:PENGUIN · [ TALK ] 15:41, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
I will try something with the prose. Btw, have you seen, I kind of fixed the access of the tables. — Tomica (talk) 15:54, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
That's good. You're getting the hang of this. Be sure to add {{dagger}} for the unreleased works. —WP:PENGUIN · [ TALK ] 10:44, 9 September 2012 (UTC)
Ooops. Added them now :). Thanks for the advice. I totally forgot them. — Tomica (talk) 11:21, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

Hello

Hey there, how are you? It's been a while. The Christian Bale filmography is looking good.

I would appreciate it if you could give your input on the FLC page for Usher discography, thanks. Rayman95 (talk) 20:38, 8 September 2012 (UTC)

Hey. Yeah, we haven't heard each other:). How r u? Thanks, it still needs some work, but we will fix it. And yeah, no problem I will comment at the FLC. Regards. — Tomica (talk) 23:31, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
I'm fine, thanks for asking. School just started, so I'll be getting a lot of work soon, I'll have to either retire or semi-retire because of this:( Though the weather's nice here, so that makes the day a little less depressing. Anyway, happy editing with the Christian Bale filmography, he's an awesome actor. Rayman95 (talk) 10:27, 9 September 2012 (UTC)
Ahhh man :/ ... Try at least to be semi-retired, I will also be from October :/. University, studying a lot does not go with Wikipedia for sorry. And about Bale, he is awesome, favorite ever :)I guess you like the Batman trilogy. — Tomica (talk) 11:21, 9 September 2012 (UTC)
School, education is no fun. I'll try and be semi-retired, don't want those pesky ip's vandalising our articles. I watched the newest one, Dark Knight Rises a few weeks ago, bloody awesome man. Though in my opinion, the Dark Knight was just as good, just because of Joker (R.I.P. Heath Ledger). And Bale, he's probably my favourite actor, just from the batman films. Rayman95 (talk) 18:29, 9 September 2012 (UTC)
I know, school sucks a lot :). Btw, yeah I watched it a week ago in cinema. I was WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWED! I liked it a lot. Tbh, my favorite part is the first one Batman Begins, don't know why, maybe because its kind of most realistic (although there is fantasy in all of them lol). And yeah same as me. I am set to download all of his movies and watch them :D ! — Tomica (talk) 18:32, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

I'm looking forward to seeing how they proceed with the series, even though Nolan said it was his last batman film, they can't just abandon it. I haven't watched Begins yet (crazy, I know) but when I have time off, I'll watch it along with all of Bale's other films. Which I can now find, thanks to some really nice people who expanded his filmography:P Rayman95 (talk) 19:24, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

No, they will not let it like that. They will create 4th film or eventually one where Robin will have the lead role. ;) Hehehe :$$$ (getting red). ;) Regards — Tomica (talk) 19:32, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

Template:Did you know nominations/Styled to Rock

Your DYK nomination of this article has some issues that need to be addressed. In particular, the article's sourcing is not up to DYK requirements. The entire Format section is completely unreferenced, for example. (I forgot to check to see whether the hook facts are properly sourced; all hook facts need a relevant source at the end of the sentence the fact is in.) LTWYL lead

What do you think of this condensed version of the current lede of Love the Way You Lie? I'm thinking about pasting it soon, as the article has been trimmed and deserves a more concise introduction... It has its odd spots, but I think they can be tweaked easily. —WP:PENGUIN · [ TALK ] 14:40, 11 September 2012 (UTC)

Mmm, well it has been trimmed, but the lead that is already present in the article (the 4 paragraph one) is good too, cause the article is still comprehensive :) So. Tbh, from the one in the sandbox I don't like the first sentence and its kind of small for the article. Regards — Tomica (talk) 16:28, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
I'll definitely consider your opinion, but the draft complies with WP:LEAD#Length. Why don't you like the opening sentence? I can guess why, but just a confirmation? —WP:PENGUIN · [ TALK ] 16:41, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
It's not because of featuring vocals from Barbadian recording artist Rihanna. Just I prefer "Love the Way You Lie is a song recorded by American recording artist Eminem for his seventh studio album Recovery. It was released as second single on ...". That's my personal opinion and according to me it reads better :) ! — Tomica (talk) 16:44, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
I guessed correct then! I'm heading back to the drawing board out of a dislike of how the current lede is layed out. Your input is appreciated —WP:PENGUIN · [ TALK ] 17:08, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
You are such a perfectionist. Lol. And btw, for the record its not that I dislike much the lead that I is in your sandbox. Its fine, but that's my personal opinion. Cheers! — Tomica (talk) 17:20, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
I like this format, but I'm not sure how I can lay it out:
  • Paragraph 1 – Song creation and lyrical/musical overview (Writing, production, recording and composition)
  • Paragraph 2 – Release and promotion (Release, music video, live performances)
  • Paragraph 3 – Reception and legacy (Critical response, chart performance, awards, covers and sequel)
It's not necessarily the order the whole article follows, but it is a nice and engaging intro organization. The problem is that the 3rd para would end up being far longer than the other two and that looks awkward. —WP:PENGUIN · [ TALK ] 17:28, 11 September 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, I know that leads do not have to follow the article format. And yeah, I hate when one paragraph looks bigger than the others. You will find the way. I believe in you, just hurry :D FAC. :P — Tomica (talk) 17:35, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
