Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/Parthenon at night

Hey Kurbis, thought I would let you know that you voted twice @ Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/Parthenon at night. Thought you might want to correct that. Cheers! Dusty777 19:17, 11 October 2012 (UTC)

Ummm

Sorry to see you're feeling discouraged. Do you want a few days to think about Talk:Canis Minor/GA1 or do you want to tweak it or ask for another reviewer? Am in no hurry. Cheers, Casliber (talk · contribs) 13:45, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

GA Review

Thanks for the review on John Hagelin, Tom Cat. I'll get to work on that right away. Sorry you're feeling down. I certainly appreciate your help, very much so.(olive (talk) 13:34, 11 October 2012 (UTC))

  • Seconded, thanks for all the work you do with Russian topics. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 13:42, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
    • and a question if you're around and feel up to it:

John Hagelin GA review "It would be better and more accessible if you create a "Bibliography" sub-section and use short footnotes, such as [1]"

I'm not sure what this means, or what you are suggesting. Could you explain a bit further. And no worries if you don't feel up to it. I'll ask around or maybe even a talk page watcher here would have a thought on this?(olive (talk) 17:11, 12 October 2012 (UTC))

This is clearly a translation from the German wikipedia. Please remember to add translated|de|title in future to respect the copyright agreement. Sorry it was GDF who started it from German, not you.♦ Dr. Blofeld 15:14, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

I've improved this and addressed almost all of the GA pointers. Stay and help write missing articles on other ancient world topics!♦ Dr. Blofeld 19:12, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi Tomcat, would you be willing to return to the GA review? — Crisco 1492 (talk) 10:59, 18 October 2012 (UTC)

At least one new reply has been posted here. --Tito Dutta (talk) 20:11, 19 October 2012 (UTC)

Fyodor Dostoyevsky

The article isn't stable, there were tags on it earlier. in order to pass for GA such disputes need to be eradicated before I can even begin to review it.♦ Dr. Blofeld 19:37, 19 October 2012 (UTC)

Prove to me there are no outstanding content disputes, no tags likely to be readded or no edit warring and if you renominate it in a week or two I'll re-review it. But I advise you to get another pair of eyes to read it first.♦ Dr. Blofeld 10:04, 20 October 2012 (UTC)

John Helin GA extension

Hi TomCat. I and another editor are working to redo the ref format on the John Hagelin article. I think the system you suggested is excellent and I'm committed to putting it in place. The refs on the JH were created by several different editors so they are quite a mish mash and its going to take longer than expected to create uniformity and put the format you suggested into place. Would you consider a time extension? And thanks for considering this request. (olive (talk) 23:16, 19 October 2012 (UTC))

Take your time :). Regards.--Tomcat (7) 10:04, 20 October 2012 (UTC)

GA review of Poor Folk

Hello, I have completed my preliminary review of Poor Folk, and have noted a few issues that need to be addressed before I can pass the review. I have placed the article "on hold" until changes have been made. Happy Editing! --Tea with toast (話) 22:41, 20 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi, Tomcat7 (User talk:GreatOrangePumpkin - redirects here), I am beginning the copy-edit you requested for the above article at the GOCE request page. Please feel free to contact me, or to correct or revert my edits if I'm doing something I shouldn't. Given the technical nature of the article, of which I have no specific knowledge, feel free to make any necessary corrections and to make sure I keep the article accurate! :-) Cheers, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 04:22, 21 October 2012 (UTC)

Done - I've left the German text hidden for future reference; please feel free to check the article over for accuracy since I'm not a mycologist and have no knowledge of such things. Also, feel free contact me about any issues arising from the copy-edit. Cheers, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 02:38, 22 October 2012 (UTC)

Any chance you can address the issues at the FLC? Been no response in nearly a week. NapHit (talk) 16:17, 23 October 2012 (UTC)

I am trying to fix the issues in the following days. Regards.--Tomcat (7) 17:52, 23 October 2012 (UTC)

Otis Blue: Otis Redding Sings Soul

Just looking through my watchlist and I see that the GAN on Otis Blue: Otis Redding Sings Soul needs to be finished. I note that you are a busy beaver, and I am not worried at all about keeping the GAN open until you are ready, but as some people keep an eye on stale reviews it would be useful now and again to leave a note saying that you intend to finish it, but are busy at the moment. In the meantime, keep up the good work - you are clearly an asset to the project. SilkTork ✔Tea time 16:30, 23 October 2012 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Pyramid of Neferefre

The article Pyramid of Neferefre you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold  . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needed to be addressed. If these are fixed within 7 days, the article will pass, otherwise it will fail. See Talk:Pyramid of Neferefre for things which need to be addressed. Pyrotec (talk) 18:43, 25 October 2012 (UTC)
