Autopatrolled

Hi, you removed my autopatrolled status in May and I am here to ask if I can have it back again as I am interested in creating some articles. I am not going back to China, but I am interested on creating more detailed stubs in the future, and will not end up like I did back in May... I am not going to start creating articles now as I am busy, but I would like my Autopatrolled back for the mean time.

You said "I would strongly advise that you do not request autopatrolled again until this matter has been resolved to the general satisfaction of those who have presented evidence". It has been two months since that discussion, I have returned to Wikipedia and the articles have been unlawfully deleted... Thank you if you can help. Firstly, you're not helping your case by using silly language like "unlawfully" (which law, exactly?) in regards to the consensus as to how to deal with the issue that led to you storming off in a huff. "Resolved to the general satisfaction of those who have presented evidence" implies that those who presented evidence can actually trust that you can create articles without supervision. You need to regain that trust first, and the best way would be by presenting evidence as detailed on WP:AUTOPATROL (create fifty valid pages). OK. Sorry, I used the wrong word. "Unlawfully" was not right. It's just that I was saddened and annoyed that 8000 got deleted with the majority not having errors. I didn't "storm off in a huff", I had to leave Wikipedia because my account was being scrutinised too much and I could not stay here with a large gang trying to get me into trouble back there... I came here to ask advice about getting Autopatrolled back - and thank you for that advice. I will create a few good articles in time, and then present evidence on WP:AUTOPATROL, then get it back. You appear to threaten sanctions against me in this post. Could I ask for evidence of the edits in which I am believed to have made a personal attack. I have been called laughable, a liar, ignorant by WG: I have not replied in that style at all. I can understand you wanting to appear even handed in stepping in with your "cool-down" comment, but I do not believe your applying accusation of attacking to me to be borne out by the facts. Infobox information appliance

Template:Infobox information appliance appears to have some broken fields (namely "gpu" and "soc"), as they don't work on the Ouya article. I noticed you were the last editor of the template and was wondering if you could check it out. -Kai445 (talk) 18:37, 7 August 2012 (UTC)

This edit to the documentation is the problem; it adds fields which aren't supported by the template or which are misspelled. For the GPU use GPU (upper case) or graphics: the template doesn't currently support anything analogous to soc, but I could easily add a chipset parameter or something if you think it's important? I think it is relevant to have the soc field if we are talking about information appliances (above the cpu and gpu fields), and am not sure if a chipset field would be equivalent. Don't change a thing about your presentation. GiantSnowman was honest and up-front in his first nom, went back and worked on the areas where people opposed, and passed with 100+ support and zero opposes next time. We need more admins who can be trusted to say what they think and do what they say. I really want to ask you to stop without discussion merging (read redirecting) templates and/or articles and/or any Wikipedia page. I think the result of the ANI shows that this point has been recognized as a valid one, and one that might lead to an Rfc, with all the consequences that may have for you. If you were to see this as a last warning and refrain from such behavior in the future, that would be good. In my opinion, you have crossed the line between being bold and acting as though Wikipedia is yours more than once now, and this is not appreciated. Even if you do not see things this way, ask yourself whether perhaps you might have done anything to give such an impression, and I am sure you will find. Debresser (talk) 01:51, 9 August 2012 (UTC)

The only thing that was said at ANI was that if you have a problem with my edits then you are free to raise an RFC/U. There was certainly no endorsement of your supposed argument. As for what I might have done to "give such an impression", that's pretty obvious: I've been going around improving the encyclopedia without getting your permission first, and in my considerable interaction history with you this has almost always resulted in your coming to my talk page to chide me like a naughty schoolboy. This is your problem, not mine. I'm perfectly comfortable that I'm acting in the best interests of the encyclopedia. If anyone's reputation has been damaged by running off to ANI to try to get me desysopped over a trivial content dispute it's yours. I won't quote, but one of the comments recognized that both of us have a fair point. Meaning that my point was also a fair point, that you have a tendency of not seeking consensus, and that such is not appropriate behavior for a Wikipedia administrator. I was definitely not trying to get your admin rights revoked, just to raise your awareness to this point. You seem to misinterpret my intentions. Please notice, that acting "in the best interest of the encyclopedia" also has to be done in certain ways (that is what we have our policies and guidelines for). Being stubborn about this, missing the point, and just restating that your are as always "doing the right thing", will not look well in an Rfc, should I in the end find it necessary to open one. I know. The previous excuse given (and it was an excuse) was that changing the templates individually reduced the overall consistency, which is why I made sure to do them all at once. Antony-22 does great work on nanotech articles, but that doesn't grant him veto power over the styling of the sidebars. I've replied on his talk. Well, in his defense, he's been very busy attacking on multiple fronts. The highlight is getting an admin to tell me not to leave notices on his talk page[2], bad-mouthing me to that admin[3], then making pro-conservative edits all over the place, including an edit war on Family Research Council and even on the talk page of Social conservatism.[4] On talk pages, he's consistently aggressive and borderline uncivil.[5] And all this is just from his most recent edits. For uncontroversial page move requests, follow the instructions at WP:RM/TR. I've told you repeatedly to use the general admin notification procedures instead of contacting me directly about admin tasks because a) I am not your paid employee (especially at the weekend, especially when the football is on) and b) it massively reduces the average response time. I don't expect to be lectured about having failed to provide you a response within 24 hours in future unless it's regarding something in which I am already specifically involved in an administrative capacity. I sincerely forgot about the steps needed to request a page move, honest, so i thought it was a simple admin task that required no more than a message, hence my request and subsequent reaction. LECTURE? I was not lecturing you, i (wrongfully) thought i did not get the answer i deserved and was looking for possible reasons for it. Believe me, i really would be ashamed of my behaviour if i remembered those WP:RM/TR guidelines, but i did not, i thought all it took was ask an admin and, if the move was an open-and-shut case, it would be done. I'll be more careful in the future, because that's the last time anybody tells me "i'm not your servant" here. I'm a very negative pessimistic (bordering paranoid) person, but am not going to go into much detail after your reaction towards me, don't want to confide nor impose.
