December 2016 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistent disruption. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:55, 5 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Well, not surprisingly, you didn't answer my questions. I don't get the sense that you understand our notability guidelines, and even if you do, I'm not sure you care. This is evident to me from your restoration of a completely unsourced article about an animated short that you didn't bother to established notability for. I also don't like that you deleted AfD notices here and here. It's obvious that you're trying to hide those articles' deletion histories and I consider that extraordinarily dishonest. The honest approach would have been to build them up, say, in draft space, do a ton of research, demonstrate clear notability, etc.

The Modifyers article is also plagiarized from Wikia, so that's also a problem. That's why I asked you to explain in your own words what you think plagiarism means, but you didn't bother to answer, so I can only conclude you don't know what plagiarism is (which is a problem) or you don't care (which is a problem). For your edification, see WP:PLAGIARISM. Wikia licenses their content under the Creative Commons Share Alike license, so it's actually okay to copy content from Wikia, provided you give proper attribution. We often use {{Wikia content}} for that purpose. However, the entire article is unsourced, which means that notability cannot be established properly.

Then there are edits like this, where you apparently guess who is voicing a character. "Kathleen Barr sorta voiced Ace. I don't know. You tell me who voiced Ace." That's classy. Strong contribution there. And here you use IMDb as a reference, though you were told in September 2015 that IMDb is insufficient as a reference. Anyway, for these reasons, I think your editing privileges need to be interrupted to prevent damage to the encyclopedia.

Indefinite doesn't mean forever, but if you want to edit again, you're going to have to convince a reviewing admin that you understand the problems that have been raised, and that you have a plan for how you will approach things differently in the future. Note that you, the editor behind this account, are not presently welcome to edit here. Any changes you make during a block can be reverted by any editor for any reason, without regard for WP:3RR, and will only make the community less responsive to considering an unblock in the future. I'm mentioning this because you have previously evaded a block as noted by Ponyo above. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 21:13, 5 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry, I didn't mean anything. I don't wanna be blocked. Please unblock me, and I'll never disobey ever again. --SpaceGoofsGeekerBoy (talk) 03:46, 6 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Elf (film) edit

A tag has been placed on Category:Elf (film) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
