Hello Sonusinghmumbai, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your addition to Draft:Charanpreet Singh has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and a cited source. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. /wia /tlk 15:44, 11 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Charanpreet Singh

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Charanpreet Singh, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for repeated copyright violations after warnings. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  —SpacemanSpiff 08:13, 11 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
Also, as was already mentioned during your name change from User:Gallopinghorseproductions, using Wikipedia for promotional purposes is not on. You've been doing exactly that. —SpacemanSpiff 08:22, 11 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Your reason here the reason you mentioned that i copied the content from https://www.shorshe.com/celebrity/indexCelebrityProfile.php?Seq=17102 is wrong because they copied content from my tweets and wikipedia page please cross check as per existence or formation of the specific page i appeal its a wrong reason i have never violate copyright acts again i want to mention that they copied content from my Wikipedia article not me copied from them,i request to unblock me and activate page as it was up from last 2 months

Decline reason:

This appears to be a lie. You specifically stated, "copied from official website of Charanpreet Singh which is wwww.charanpreetsingh.com". Additionally, you have not addressed the other issues which SpacemanSpiff brings up, below. Yamla (talk) 12:02, 11 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

In addition to the copyvios, there's also the blatant self-promotion in violation of WP:COI and repeatedly recreating the article after it was deleted by consensus. —SpacemanSpiff 09:11, 11 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

How can you prove its a lie its a ? https://www.shorshe.com/celebrity/indexCelebrityProfile.php?Seq=17102 is wrong because they copied content from my tweets and wikipedia page please cross check as per existence or formation of the specific page i appe the website who has copied from wikipedia article not at all authentic u can even check that website is copying tweets of Charanpreet's official handle Charanpreet Singh is my known person he has worked in one of my production and i can accept that previously the content was copied from wwww.charanpreetsingh.com which is the official website of charanpreet it was by mistake and mistake doesn't repeated and i suggest you to cross check with https://www.shorshe.com/celebrity/indexCelebrityProfile.php?Seq=17102 as i mailed them they accepted they have copied information from Wikipedia article, they are not big website which is authentic ,I have not copied from them ...You can also ask them on mail,I will appreciate if you remove blockage

Decline reason:

I find it plausible that the website above copied from you, and not vice versa, because both sources demonstrate a lack of competence in forming English sentences. Regardless, Wikipedia doesn't need promotion-only accounts. OhNoitsJamie Talk 20:10, 11 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
