Spidey GA nom

I truly do plan on finishing the ref cleanup for the last little bit of the article soon. Just took a little break from here for the most part this month.

After that, I think we should just do c/e and submit it for GA review. We can add merchandise at a later date or just skip it because it's not a super important section. -- Zoo (talk) 20:51, 25 July 2022 (UTC)

Yup. There's a "Disney Parks Blog" source for Web-Slingers, so I'm guessing that's just a blog. There's "Spidermannews.com" in Appearances, I presume to be a fansite, but I think I saved a better source (Screen Rant I think) in my clipboard. — SirDot (talk) 21:57, 25 July 2022 (UTC)

I'm not entirely sure. I thought it could be that or just something about the article topic. I've never done one before. Did you know that... in casting Spider-Man for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, directors the Russo brothers pushed to cast Tom Holland (an actor closer to the age of Peter Parker) to differentiate from previous portrayals?

Yeah. I contacted Adam and I believe he's going to review it soon; 2 days left until August starts, unsure if actually expanded 5x in prose. I was working on getting the comic Spider-Man page to FA and it being featured on the main page on August 10 (Spider-Man Day/MCU Peter's birthday) but it's a lot of work so instead I'm working on it in smaller and bigger pieces in a year timeframe for August 10, 2023. I like how a DYK for one of the unique interpretations of Spider-Man will be featured on the 60th anniversary of Spider-Man's conception. — SirDot (talk) 19:16, 29 July 2022 (UTC)

• The WP:DYKCHECK script can be used to check DYK eligibility.
• Hooks have a 200-character limit, beginning with the word "that". See WP:DYKHOOK.
• The content of the hook must be found in the article, and the reference must be at the end of that sentence in the article. This is detailed at WP:DYKCRIT.
• If you renominate the article and it is approved, add the hook to WP:MCU/DYK after it appears on the Main Page. Also add |mcu-dyk=yes to the WikiProject tags to add the article to Category:Marvel Cinematic Universe Did you know articles, which is used for the automatic counter at WP:MCU#Did you know?.
