Cinematic style of Christopher Nolan edit

Hi, I did the GAN review for this a while back and was just thinking about it today. It looks like it hasn't been re-nominated since, so I thought I'd ask about that, if you were planning on doing it. I'm not saying I'd necessarily take the review on, but I remember the review quite fondly despite disagreements because of how it made me think about the broad criteria in relating to film topics. Even if you aren't taking it back to GANR soon, I'd be interested in discussions of the content, etc. Thanks, Kingsif (talk) 05:54, 14 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Kingsif; Hi there, thanks for following up! I've been meaning to do a thorough copy edit and look at the ref layout (I think it should be GA with those in check), but life and other things have gotten in the way. If no one else steps up I might do some work and re-nominate later this year. All the best, Sammyjankis88 (talk) 13:33, 14 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Pittsburgh Pernguins edit

Hello:

The copy edit you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article Pittsburgh Penguins has been completed.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

I've put a citation tag at the end of Playoff runs and a uniform change (1974–1982) and I see you have taken care of the other one. I would say the article is in very good shape. Not a hint of trivia anywhere! Regards,

Twofingered Typist (talk) 13:21, 10 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Twofingered Typist; Thank you very much, great work indeed! Removed most of the trivia before submitting. :) I'll take a look at the citation tag. All the best, Sammyjankis88 (talk) 13:30, 10 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

February 2022 edit

"Tenet is a 2020 science fiction action thriller film written" is the wording used at the film page, with no "spy film" mentioned. I think "sci fi" is ok if that's your preference on the Nolan biography page. I'm presently considering moving this film article toward peer review promotion. Any interest in a co-nomination for the "Tenet" peer review upgrade? ErnestKrause (talk) 18:11, 26 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Christopher Nolan edit

Hi there. Three years ago, you asked me if I would be interested in working on Nolan-related articles for GA/FA. I have recently decided that I'll probably give his biography a go at FAC. From a quick scan, it looks pretty comprehensive but I noticed that it does not employ many literary sources (some of which are even listed in "Further reading"), e.g. The Fictional Christopher Nolan, which has some good stuff. I'll use these books to make the article more engaging and comprehensive, and will see how far I come. Checking your activity, I see you last edited in February so I don't know if you'll be reading this but I would love to see what you think. Regards, FrB.TG (talk) 17:55, 27 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

July songs

my story today

Thank you today for the article, introduced: "Christopher Nolan is one of those rare filmmakers who make highly intelligent blockbusters, which ponder the bigger philosophical questions. His films leave you thinking for days. Nolan's work with IMAX technology and insistence on minimalising the use of CGI have been highly influential. One of his films (which BTW is also at FAC currently) redefined the modern superhero genre as we know today and is the third highest-rated film on IMDb. I could go on and on, but I think you get the point."! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:00, 30 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
