Wikipedia Help Survey

edit

Hi there, my name's Peter Coombe and I'm a Wikimedia Community Fellow working on a project to improve Wikipedia's help system. At the moment I'm trying to learn more about how people use and find the current help pages. If you could help by filling out this brief survey about your experiences, I'd be very grateful. It should take less than 10 minutes, and your responses will not be tied to your username in any way.

Thank you for your time,

Bhonsle

edit

Hi, you keep adding what seems to be inappropriate content at Bhonsle. In particular, it is not possible for someone to be a maharajah of a princely state that no longer exists and therefore any names added to lists after the state(s) cease to exist is by definition a falsehood. Please stop: we are not a genealogy website and there are plenty such sites around if that is the sort of thing that you are interested in. Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 15:59, 19 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

We also do not link inside section headings of articles, per WP:MOSHEAD. - Sitush (talk) 16:01, 19 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletion nomination of Jyotiba Rao Scindia

edit

Hello Rayaraya,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Jyotiba Rao Scindia for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 08:41, 24 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
