I'm sorry, but how was that edit unconstructive? A name does not have to be official to be mentioned. Seemandhra is a name for AP used post bifurcation. Instead of pasting a boilerplate template here, discuss the issue civilly. --RaviC (talk) 17:30, 7 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, for that actually reverting more than twice will block me so in a hurry i sent a notice, actually I wanted send another template as normal message. It was updated in the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh section. So I wanted to tell that. Don;t mind.--Vin09 (talk) 17:34, 7 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
@Vin09: You don't have to violate the three revert rule to be blocked. You can be blocked for edit warring in general. Mislabeling edits as vandalism which are not is as good as disruptive.  LeoFrank  Talk 17:39, 7 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

word of advice edit

The checkuser has not found anything to indicate me of any sock so basically please stop trying to muddy the waters as I know I have several Indians pissed off with some of factual contents I have added. Ektakapoor372 (talk) 17:00, 9 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Ektakapoor372:, or should I say Nangparbat, they haven't even done an investigation into your wrongdoing on this account yet. Best to wait until the investigation.
By the way, a word of advice. When the majority of people in India and Pakistan are living in severe poverty, superioristic chauvinism really doesn't make sense. I don't practice it, and I hope that you don't in the future. If you actually spent as much time as you did here on Wikipedia (getting all of your edits reverted) doing Zakat, some one might actually be helped. --RaviC (talk) 03:39, 10 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

An observation edit

What was your reason to use the pov map for Pakistani territories? while for Indian occupied Kargil you used Indian maps? I thought you was not "Chauvinism" is hypocrisy also part of majority culture of India? 86.159.10.137 (talk) 17:48, 12 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Nangparbat, if there was a locator map of just Gilgit Baltistan, I would have used it. And if you were a good editor on this Wikipedia instead of a banned vandal, constructively you could have created one to help out. Instead you go around making life harder for serious Pakistani editors on this Wikipedia. --RaviC (talk) 17:58, 12 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
I have heard excuses like these before you are correct the life of Pakistani editors will always be difficult as they are outnumbered and outgunned by Indian pov pushers like yourself and they stay timid and obey rules as they know Indians are very well organised you should count your lucky stars that there is only one Nangparbat if more Pakistani editors were like me your Indian pov would be history it just happens to be Pakistanis are not so proactive on Wikipedia and hence people like you can slowly and subtly deconstruct Pakistani articles to the tune you want it to be in. 86.159.10.137 (talk) 18:21, 12 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
Since you will never learn how to behave maturely, you will always be unwelcome at Wikipedia. I was polite in interacting with you. There's no need for us to have any more discussions. --RaviC (talk) 19:10, 12 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
It matters little to me how you sugar coat your words and your pov I can come back to Wikipedia if I wanted to actually its called 6 months offer but when I see sneaky trolls vandalizing Wikipedia and then have the nerve to act all kind and polite it pushes me to expose your pov and that is the reason why your pov edits will always be removed by me or someone else. 86.159.10.137 (talk) 19:51, 12 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please don't add confusing non-neutral map in the Azad Kashmir articles, prior to consensus. As far as the neutral location map of Azad Kashmir is concerned, it would be developed soon. Faizan 07:29, 17 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
I'm sorry, but how on earth is the map confusing and non-neutral? I didn't add in an Indian Kashmir map, just a non-political one, so as a result please WP:AGF. The locator map you have reverted back to covers a too wide distance to actually show the precise location of a settlement (I have been making regional locator maps to solve this problem.) Polygons for image maps edit

RaviC! Thanks for your recent edits to the image map polygons on Template:Indian states and territories image map. I'd have done it myself when I was working on updating the image, but discovered I didn't have any tools that would allow me to read and edit the polygons in the proper format. What tools did you use to assist you in the creation of these new polygons? --Tim Parenti (talk) 04:29, 16 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi there @Tim Parenti:, I was equally as stumped as you about these image maps.
After some research, I discovered the ImageMapEdit tool, which is quite unintuitive, but gets the job done (albeit, only on IE and old versions of Firefox).
Let me know if you have any questions on how to use it.
Kind regards

Your move : Delhi railway station to Old Delhi railway station edit

While i would unofficially agree with you there has been a discussion on Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (stations) - Naming convention for railway stations in India. It is number 26 on that page as per which the general consensus was that railway station article should conform to the official name used by Indian Railways hence the article must be maintained at Delhi railway station, your reason notwithstanding.

So would you please revert your edit there??

Superfast1111 (talk) 06:57, 29 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

The official name isn't Delhi, but Delhi Junction. I'll revert it to that name now. Thanks for telling me about that consensus. --RaviC (talk) 08:06, 30 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Actually the correct name would be Delhi railway station as the Railways website lists it as Delhi. That what i was hoping from you. Superfast1111 (talk) 09:17, 30 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

I can't see that on their site. But since Delhi Jn is the name on the signboard, it's definitely an official name for the station. --RaviC (talk) 14:37, 5 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Columbia Cider edit

Hello RaviC, I am sending this to you since you created the article:

Proposed deletion of Columbia Cider edit

The article Columbia Cider has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

this article is about unreleased commercial software. Little about it is known, many holes in infobox. I have not been able to find any secondary source reviewing this software in any significant way, other than just paraphrasing from the primary source, which is quite detailed, but not valid for notability evaluation. Probably vaporware, may never be released.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. 81.33.164.246 (talk) 18:03, 6 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello there. I'd recommend you register for an account, it will make contact a lot more simple. For the article, give it another month. If it isn't released then, then I'll personally nominate it for deletion. The layer is notable in the sense that it employs a new paradigm (kernel compatibility) in order to maintain app compatibility, which is a novel concept. --RaviC (talk) 21:06, 6 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Replaceable fair use File:ChromeOS.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:ChromeOS.png. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Dereckson (talk) 23:59, 5 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Spartan browser rendering engine edit

London Conservatives edit

Hi, I was wondering if you could explain why you made the following changes to the London Conservatives article:

  • Added the category 'European Conservatives and Reformists member parties' and 'Parties represented in the European Parliament', despite London Conservatives not being listed here
  • Removed number of directly-elected Mayoralties in London held including in infobox and removed 'The party holds none of the four directly-elected Mayoralties in London'
  • Added that the party is 'in power' in the Greater London Authority. This is a misunderstanding of the authority. The authority consists of both the Mayor and the London Assembly. The Conservatives are the minority party on the Assembly.
  • Removed the factual statement that the London Labour Party are larger AusLondonder (talk) 18:15, 18 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your reply. For the following:

a) It is a constituent party of the Conservatives, in the same way that the Scottish and Welsh parties also affiliate with the ECR.

b) This may need some clarification but the mayoral executive of the GLA is undoubtedly held by the Conservatives. If you can word it better, then by all means do.

c) A party's size isn't determined soley by its' number of seats. There's no statement on the UK Labour Party article claiming the Conservatives are a 'larger' party, or on the Democratic Party article claiming the Republicans are a 'larger' party based on their current representation. To make such a claim would undoubtedly violate the neutrality principle of this site.

Kind regards.
