Please remember to:

  • Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the   button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp.
  • Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.

Disambiguation link notification for September 20 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Erol Gelenbe, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page ACM. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:06, 20 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hey @DPL bot, thank you for the info. Based on your request, I have removed the ACM link from the page of Erol Gelenbe, as it was indeed pointing to disambiguation. Thank you for the heads up. Randomreader162 13:54, 20 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message edit

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:38, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

′== January 2024 ==   Thank you for contributing to the article Draft:Ahmad Bazzi. However, please do not use unreliable sources such as blogs, your own website, websites and publications with a poor reputation for checking the facts or with no editorial oversight, expressing views that are widely acknowledged as extremist, that are promotional in nature, or that rely heavily on rumors and personal opinions, as one of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. If you require further assistance, please look at Help:Menu/Editing Wikipedia, or ask at the Teahouse. Thank you. Sam Kuru (talk) 19:33, 10 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for all the edits done by you Sam Kuru and informing me about the sources. To the best of my ability, i have attached reliable sources and i hope now the draft is in good shape to be submitted. Please kindly have a look and provide me your feedback as it is highly useful and recommended. Thank you. Randomreader162 19:36, 11 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
The 'ipsnews' link is again clearly-identified content marketing / paid placement, and the 'programminginsider' looks to be slightly re-worded press material that was included in some of the other SEO sources you previously added. Just for the record, is there an undisclosed WP:COI at play here? Sam Kuru (talk) 03:56, 12 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for bringing up your concerns. I appreciate the diligence in scrutinizing the sources. I would like to clarify that I have no undisclosed COI related to the edits I made, as I am practicing and contributing to Wikipedia and as the human being I am, I may have missed out some information before editing. I understand the importance of maintaining the neutrality and reliability of Wikipedia content. On another note, I do believe of the notability of the subject, as compared to other subjects here on Wikipedia from a very unbiased perspective. Therefore, I chose this draft to improve and hopefully publish as I will be proud of my first published page. I did my research on the subject and found that, relative to other pages, the subject is well deserving of a page. Besides media coverage, the subject has a massive following on social platforms, such as YouTube, awards and recognitions that are public with the proof already there such as the IEEE website, as well as patents and more. So, I decided to contribute to this subject.
In this context, I will reevaluate the content and consider alternative sources to ensure the information presented is unbiased and reliable. If you have specific suggestions for replacement sources, please feel free to share them. Randomreader162 04:19, 12 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
