Welcome!

Hello, Rafasyah Orvala Sukoco, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been or will be removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or in other media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. When changing names

edit

You need to consider the following very carefully:-

First - Wikipedia as an online encyclopedia relies on WP:RS and WP:V for how articles about people are written

If you are to go to English persons who were given 'titles' - such as Charles Court - the thing is that wikipedia does not add the honorifics

Some years ago many moslem/islamic editors left wikipedia because wikipedia would not add islamic honorifics for names of special people

In the royal javanese area - the amount of possible honorifics in front of, or after rulers of Yogyakarta or Surakarta is large - they are not used in titles or in lead sentences

Your adding Ahmad to Sukarno, and Haji Mohammad to Suharto, might appeal to your sense of reverence to a now deceased Indonesian ruler, it is not how most information comes from the usage before his death or after - and when you consider the rules of style of wikipedia - see WP:MOS we do not add such material - as most online sources actually do not utilise all the extra bits - at all - see https://www.britannica.com/biography/Suharto - nothing there.

Also - as the first message here - indicates - you would have to provide a good WP:RS to show what and why such added titles become part of the articles - or components of the article.

Please take care, read WP:MOS about tiles, and expect most of your edits to be reverted - if you wish to offer information to back up your usage - you need to provide a good argument on the talk page with good points as to why to go against WP:MOS - articles about Indonesian leaders require all the extra bits - that is with WP:AGF and a clear understanding of wikipedia rules and policies. Thanks JarrahTree 12:29, 2 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Also - this is English Wikipedia - not Indonesian Wikipedia - using Indonesian acronyms in text - is in the main totally pointless unless linked to an explanation - or another article that explains the context - english speakers tend to nothing about Indonesian acronyms - adding to articles in this wikipedia - in text, without links or footnotes to explain the usage - basically makes it look unencylopediac. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Bekasi, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sundanese (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Arekan dialect and Javanese architecture - moved to Draft:Arekan dialect and Draft:Javanese architecture

edit

Hi Rafasyah Orvala Sukoco, Greetings. Pls note that your creation of Arekan dialect and Javanese architecture has been moved to Draft:Arekan dialect and Draft:Javanese architecture. Content added/edited in Wikipedia needs "inline citation" from independent (third party / secondary / tertiary) reliable source (in any language) for verification to gauge the nobility criteria is met. The articles's inline citation is the WP:BURDEN which it is on the person adding the information. Please note official website, records of sport events or individual player records are consider primary source and not independent source, and social network source such as facebook, twitter, instagram, imbd and etc are considered NOT reliable source and can not be used for citing. Independent reliable source are sources are those obtain from major newspaper, such as The Guardian, Sydney Morning Herald, CNN news and etc. or source obtain from major publisher of the work (for example, Random House or Cambridge University Press). Pls see

  1. reliable source - see WP:RS
  2. primary vs secondary vs tiartiary source - see WP:WPNOTRS
  3. verification - see WP:V
  4. notability - see WP:N
  5. webcite - see WP:CITEWEB and its template -see Template: cite web

Once you have provided inline citations, you could move back the page to "article" to resubmit. Lastly, I strongly encourage you to visit WP:The Wikipedia Adventure for there some short and fun exercises on neutrality, verifiability, collaboration, research and sourcing. Thank you. Orphaned non-free image File:Kota jakarta utara.png

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Kota jakarta utara.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 08:49, 25 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Lots of moves

edit

I am not sure if you aware that there are alternative spellings that can be designated inside articles - rather than going through the extensive moving that you are doing - it is not uncontroversial and really should require a little more circumspection - the process of moving articles to an alternative spelling requires at the minumum an argument as to why - specially when the variant can be a redirect rather than a wholemove... just because the regular Indonesian project editors who might question your moves might not be editing at the moment is not to say there will not be some questioning down the line.

There is no such thing as pefected spelling? If there is a WP:RS for that one please.

Please put some effort to your reasons for moves - not in edit summaries - but at the Indonesian project, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Indonesia. Thanks. JarrahTree 13:22, 2 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Also in WP:AGF - not responding can be seen as not being involved in the editing community - and that can be a problem if you are asked to explain controversial edits. If you need help please ask for it. Thanks. JarrahTree 23:12, 2 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Why did I revert your edit in the List of Minangkabau people? Please ask me. JarrahTree 13:00, 3 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
As I do not expect an answer from previous behaviour - note this is English wikipedia - the predominant language is english - creating lists of names in languages or scripts other than roman is contrary to what WP:ABOUT and WP:NOT. Please do not waste your time, or others here trying to maintain the project by creating a list like that and using Indonesian or malay edit summaries. Thank you.   Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains under way. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Hddty. Your recent editing history at Indian Indonesians and Malay Indonesian shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war.

To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Please now take the reader of this talk page to that part of english wikipedia that justifies editing like above:

Noting: also that you need to add your comments or justifications at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Indonesia

It would be much appreciated if you can provide a coherent and easily understandable argument as to why the additions are not WP:OR, or that an english reader can understand is what is the source?.

In view of previous discussions, you will be given adequate time to find a justification, otherwise there will probably be a discussion at a noticeboard later on to either - (1) revert your edits (2) block

With respect, I am sure you feel justified in what you are doing - there is nothing on english wikipedia that agrees with that. JarrahTree 04:50, 7 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

The article List of writing systems of the languages in Indonesia has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article has no cite any sources, probably totally original research

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 09:00, 26 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
