Orderliness

edit

I should have left a message on this since I only used an automated edit. The opening paragraph or section should be a general description of the the subject of the article, in this case "orderliness." You have added some details about cleaning, which is simply a part of orderliness. So if it were useful to this article, it should be in the more detailed discussion below the introduction. You have added a section on spring cleaning. Your addition to the opening might be worked in at that point in the article. Notice, however, that this is a psychology related article. So there is good reason to write very little, if anything (maybe just a link), about cleaning here and leave it to the various Cleaning (disambiguation) articles. In fact, there is an article about Spring cleaning. You might look at that to see whether it is complete. I had originally thought that your addition needed a citation and I think it would if it were to be included. Since I now think it is superfluous here, and the article is short and unsourced anyway, the lack of citation is probably beside the point.

This is all a little more technical than the usual problems with edits but I hope that you can see my point. I hope you will not be discouraged and will continue to contribute.

You had some useful links for reference placed on the page above in an earlier welcome message. I also like this list of links for reference on Wikipedia guidelines and style.

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages (but not article edits) by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date.

Thanks for your understanding. Donner60 (talk) 19:53, 16 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person, but you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 23:16, 16 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
