I have reverted your edit at Talk:Pink (singer) edit

Your edit summary indicated that you were moving a comment, but your edit actually deleted several comments by other editors. Please take care not to do this in the future. bd2412 T 01:58, 26 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

That's a lot people commenting on the same page at the same time. I thought you were supposed to get an "edit conflict" warning in this situation. It just saved my comment and it didn't spew out any warning. Must be a software glitch. NotUnusual (talk) 02:33, 26 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your reply. Sometimes these things just happen. Cheers! bd2412 T 03:47, 26 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Stop it edit

The hell is your problem? Yes, I disagree with you on Pink/P!nk, but that doesn’t mean you have to spread our disagreement across Wikipedia like mustard on a delicious, delicious ham sandwich.

I posted on WT:D only to start a discussion about a possible cause of confusion that had never occurred to me, not to try to convince anyone of anything—I didn’t even take a side. If you’re curious, I’d be happy to share my opinions about it with you, but doing so there would be counterproductive to finding out what others think, which was the whole point.

As for the other anonymous editor on Talk:Pink (singer), I was surprised to see another 174.x.x.x address, so I immediately pasted it into a geolocation service, expecting to see another Floridian (which is where I live). Turns out that guy’s Canadian. You could do the same basic research I just described, by the way. Either way, it has nothing to do with whether WP:D should be revised. But maybe Pink (singer) does need to be renamed if it’s so easy to confuse with a WP guideline page. —174.141.182.82 (talk) 11:59, 26 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I know about geolocate. But I don't understand why this is a problem. Just open an account already. That Canadian IP is very prolific and he is involved a lot of RMs. So this may not the last time the two of you are confused. NotUnusual (talk) 16:57, 26 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia edit

I'm sorry but while welcoming a new editor with an interest in China, Japan and RMs, the question has to be asked, are you Kauffner? In ictu oculi (talk) 13:26, 6 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
