Referencing format wrong

edit

Journal references are supposed to provide a hyperlink to the article abstract at PubMed. Yours don't. See Help:Referencing for beginners. For journal articles where I have a PMID number from the abstract as it appears at PubMed, there is a program to create references by entering the PMID number. Use https://tools.wmflabs.org/citation-template-filling/cgi-bin/index.cgi You still have to add the ref brackets at both ends. For ref name= the quotation marks are not required. Also, I recommend using the first author's last name and the year of publication as a ref name rather than numbers. Lastly, I recommend putting in time improving existing articles before again essaying article creation. Myself, 10+ years, 15,000 edits, five articles raised to Good Article status - and zero articles created. David notMD (talk) 15:16, 3 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Comment: Resubmitting a declined article with major problems after making only minor changes usually leads to a decline from a different editor, as seen here. David notMD (talk) 18:33, 3 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
