Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Dayanita Singh has been reverted.
Your edit here to Dayanita Singh was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://shahidul.wordpress.com/2008/12/06/through-the-cracks-of-a-mirror/%20) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 06:19, 13 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of "L N Tallur"

edit

A page you created, L N Tallur, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a band or other musical group, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for musical groups in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. MacAddct1984 (talk • contribs) 17:20, 1 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi there, I have declined the speedy deletion nomination of L.N. Tallur because he is obviously notable. HOWEVER: you had copied the article from another website word for word which is a copyright violation. There's plenty of stuff on him, it just nbeeds rewriting into our own words and I've made a start. If you have reliable sources for more information please add them; ask for help and I will try to do so! Kim Dent-Brown (Talk) 19:57, 1 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did to Pushpamala N., without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Hello there, you copied material from here directly into this article and you've now done this a couple of times. You CANNOT simply paste in material from others sources; it needs re-writing into your own words. Please see WP:COPYVIO for more information - thanks! Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.  You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you.
