Speedy deletion nomination of Responsibilities of an Admin edit

A tag has been placed on Responsibilities of an Admin, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Moreover, please add more verifiable sources, not only 3rd party sources. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this:   which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Rorshacma (talk) 15:58, 3 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Pages tagged for deletion edit

I'm wondering if these are supposed to be subpages of your userpage, rather than stand alone articles? If this is the case, contact me at my userpage and I'll resurrect them for you and either you can move them, or I'll move them for you if you can't do it yet. So long as you're not setting out to wreck the place, most of us are quite friendly and don't mind being asked for help. (Getting the answer right may be a different matter sometimes...) 8-) Peridon (talk) 16:28, 3 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thank you! These were going to be subpages and i believe we made new ones that are sub pages. Sorry about creating those pages, thanks for the speedy deletions! Nageljac09 (talk) 17:48, 3 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

One little word of warning there - Wikipedia accounts are for individuals, so I assume that the other part of 'we' was just advising you rather than editing... Peridon (talk) 17:52, 3 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yes I did not mean more than one person was using this account. Thanks for the tip though! If i have any questions in creating these pages, would i be able to direct them to you? Nageljac09 (talk) 17:56, 3 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Peridon, Nageljac09 is part of a class in WP:USEP, so "we" probably meant his/her peers :) . Nageljac, you may ask questions to any user whom you trust and who you think can answer your query; just be bold and ask! Lynch7 18:02, 3 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Fair enough - I used the 'add' button and didn't read the first part of this page. Always willing to give what help I can - or to pass things I can't answer on to people who can (and whom I trust). Peridon (talk) 18:45, 3 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Inappropriate edit

I have moved How to Become an Admin to User:Nageljac09/sandbox. This was completely inappropriate for the (article) namespace. (And is probably completely redundant to material already present in the Wikipedia: namespace.) — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:20, 3 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • As mentioned above on my talk page, I did not mean to create those pages. I am new to Wikipedia and I apologize for creating those. Thanks. Nageljac09 (talk) 20:40, 3 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

If you create a mistake article, request its deletion with {{db-author}}. Please also study this edit carefully. What does "fixing vandalism then later rollback" mean? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:47, 3 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

This is a work in progress for a class project and that page has yet to be edited. I promise you that it is nowhere near completed or revised. I would appreciate and encourage any feedback during this process. The goal of those pages are to gather Administrator information in one location that is easy to understand and easy to navigate. Like I said, it is in the beginning stages of formatting but I would like your and any other active Wiki user/admins feedback. That sentence, for example, is something that I need to ask my group about. That and plenty of other things will need to be changed I'm sure. Nageljac09 (talk) 21:04, 3 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
