Copy right policy edit

What you copied in Al-Mufid from [1] is against wikipedia copyright policy, because there is written all rights reserved.[2].So I deleted it. I proposed writing something by yourself by using this document or just copy some important part of it and then link to that web page.--Sa.vakilian 07:07, 17 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with Image:Scan0015_cropped.jpg edit

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Scan0015_cropped.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Jusjih (talk) 01:52, 24 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Khaleel Aziz edit

The article Khaleel Aziz has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 15:51, 17 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Redirect Needed? edit

Are Syed Waheed Akhtar and Waheed Akhtar the same person? If so, you only need one article for the man. You can add a redirect to any aliases he might use. Let me know if you need any assistance. Also beware of weasel words in your articles. Take care. 70.186.172.75 (talk) 12:25, 18 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with Image:100 9053.JPG edit

Thanks for uploading Image:100 9053.JPG. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 12:13, 23 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Birthday by month and day edit

A tag has been placed on Birthday by month and day, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. bd_ (talk) 19:41, 11 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Birth month categories edit

Hi. I have noticed that you have started adding articles to categories related to birth month, such as Category:August births. Is this an idea you have come up with yourself, or is it based on a discussion with other editors? As this change is going to affect several hundred thousand Wikipedia articles it is likely to hit a certain level of resistance from other editors sooner or later. If you are able to secure support from other editors early in the process then it will be less likely that your changes will be reverted.
It would be useful if you could provide a comment here or at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Biography#Birth month categories. Regards. Road Wizard (talk) 02:53, 12 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Khaleel Aziz edit

The article Khaleel Aziz has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

non-notable

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Mdann52talk to me! 16:22, 1 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
