Sonic 2 Prototype ( 16-bit ) moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Sonic 2 Prototype ( 16-bit ), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Proposed deletion of Sonic the Hedgehog 3C

The article Sonic the Hedgehog 3C has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Existence not supported by reliable sources.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. A word of advice

edit

Please stop making articles about things like prototypes and demos. Long story short, fan wikis may be okay with it, but Wikipedia’s policies and guidelines generally indicate that they should not have their own article. It’s preferred that things like prototypes should be discussed in the respective game’s articles, and even that would be limited to brief mentions based off of what professional websites say on them.

You’re on the wrong website if you want somewhere to write long monologues about your own personal research on the matter. Sergecross73 msg me 16:57, 20 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Was there something you didn’t understand about my message above? We don’t make separate articles for demos and prototype video games, we just mention it at its respective article (Sonic 3 in this case). Additionally, everything needs to be written according to what reliable sources say. Not only are your articles largely not sourced, but you’re not using acceptable sources either. You have to use sources by professional writers, not Sonic fansites or open - wikis like “The Cutting Room Floor” (TCRF). These are really like, the very most basic parts of editing Wikipedia, so I strongly recommend learning more before trying to create any more articles. Articles like the ones you’re making are going to be deleted every time experienced editors notice them because they stick out like a sore thumb.
