Hello Meeepmep. I think that there might be a minor error in the caption of the excellent photograph that you have posted in the above article. Sources indicate that it was taken in Monastir, Macedonia, not Monastir, Tunisia in 1917. This is supported by the visible snow, the east-European appearance of the onlookers and the fact that colonial troops from French Indochina are known to have served in Macedonia, though not in North Africa, during World War I. Nazi infobox image sizes

I have reverted a number of your edits changing the sizes of pictures of Nazis in their article infoboxes. The purpose of an image in an infobox is to help the reader to identify the subject, not to glorify the subject by presenting the image in a very large image.

I would like to remind you about WP:BRD. When your Bold edit has been Reverted by another editor, the recommended next step, if you continue to think the edit is necessary, is to Discuss the dispute on the article talk page with other editors, but not to re-revert it, which is the first step to edit warring, a disruptive activity which is not allowed. Discussion on the talk page is the only way we have of reaching consensus, which is central to resolving editing disputes in an amicable and collegial manner, which is why communicating your concerns to your fellow editors is essential. While the discussion is going on, the article generally should remain in the status quo ante until the consensus as to what to do is reached.

    • The burden is on you to show that the images are in the public domain; you cannot copy files that you find on the internet and upload them to Commons. Photo of B-29s in front of Mount Fuji

Hi, As the Air raids on Japan article is a featured article, and I'm developing the article on the 9/10 March bombing of Tokyo to FA standard, the photos included in them need to have good quality metadata which demonstrates their relevance to the topics. I've seen similar photographs published with captions stating that they were taken after the war - B-29s were used in show of force flights over Japan after the surrender, and were based there in large numbers during the Korean War. Can you please also add alt text for the photos you're adding? The other images in the articles have this, and it's regarded as best practice for FAs. Nick-D (talk) 06:41, 11 March 2019 (UTC)
