May 2011 edit

Please do not remove references or reference lists from articles, as you did at Kana Tachibana. All biographies of living people on Wikipedia must be backed by references to reliable sources. If you continue to remove such references, your edits may be seen as non-constructive or worse, so please avoid doing so in the future. Thank you! --joe deckertalk to me 16:59, 29 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Kana Tachibana. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --DAJF (talk) 01:31, 30 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

June 2011 edit

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Yu Hasebe, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. --DAJF (talk) 11:43, 3 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Second warning this month: This goes for your removal at Fern Pimchanok Leuwisedpaiboon as well. The BLPPROD was initially validly placed, and the addition of a link to another Wiki does is not the addition of a reliable source. If you continue to remove templates to get around WIkipedia processes, future edits will be construed as vandalism and may lead to your account being blocked. --joe deckertalk to me 15:11, 5 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Monarchical & royal styles edit

Regarding you recent addition of the monarchical styles template for non-European monarchs, please note that these templates were created for forms of address that general apply in Europe, but not necessarily in Asia. For instance, in this this, how do you know that the alternative style of address is Sir? As for the King of Saudi Arabia, his style is never His Majesty, but Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and there may not even be an alternative style. I'm not saying what you're doing is completely wrong, but you should at least provide references before adding these templates. - Yk3 talk · contrib 15:09, 8 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

June 2011 edit

Why are you removing valid "BLP refimprove" templates and replacing them with the completely inapplicable "BLP unsourced" with a November 2010 date? In order to edit Wikipedia you need to display that you have the competence required to do so. If you continue to make these types of incorrect and needless changes without addressing the concerns raise by the community (as expressed in edit summaries and here on your talk page) your account may be blocked in order to allow you the opportunity to more thoroughly review Wikipedia's must basic guidelines and policies. --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 13:25, 9 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Monarchical and royal styles 2 edit

Please stop adding styles infoboxes unless you can provide references or you can show that you know what you're talking about. I'm still assuming good faith on your part, but it will become difficult to do so if you keep ignoring courteous reminders.

  • There's no such thing as His/Her Royal Majesty, just His/Her Majesty. Don't make other editors clean up this mistake.
  • Stop adding {{Infobox Monarch styles}} for people who are not monarchs. You have removed {{Infobox hrhstyles}} from a number of articles. I'm sure you understand that monarchical does not mean royal.

Thank you. - Yk3 talk · contrib 15:47, 10 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Possible copyright violation edit

Your addition to Bell Nuntita has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. - SudoGhost 09:24, 6 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

July 2011 edit

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Bell Nuntita, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Bell Nuntita. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

In particular, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue edit warring, you may be blocked from editing. - SudoGhost 09:35, 6 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Tuesday Vargas edit

The article Tuesday Vargas has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Bell Nuntita.jpg edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Bell Nuntita.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Speedy deletion nomination of Ashley Gosiengfiao edit

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Ashley Gosiengfiao requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you can assert the notability of the subject,  . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

See the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. FunkyCanute (talk) 12:37, 26 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Your contributed article, Filipino Spanish edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Filipino Spanish. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Filipino people of Spanish ancestry. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Filipino people of Spanish ancestry - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. SudoGhost 00:07, 28 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Cut and Paste edit

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give Filipino people of Spanish ancestry a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. - SudoGhost 00:09, 28 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Serious concerns edit

I wrote you a note in June 2011 regarding concerns I have regarding your editing. Since then you have continued to repeatedly upload images without including the requisite licensing and copyright information and created articles without sources which themselves contain copyright violations. Despite the laundry list of notifications and explanations as to how your edits are not compliant with Wikipedia policy, you continue on without improvement or communication with other editors. This cannot continue. I strongly urge you to seek a mentor who can assist you with your editing, and until a mentor is found it is imperative that you read Wikipedia's polices on copyright and reliable sourcing. The bottom line is that if you upload any additional images lacking licensing/copyright info or create additional unsourced copyright violating articles, your account will be blocked from editing in order to ensure you have the time to read through and comprehend these all important policies. Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 14:41, 27 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

You have now been blocked for 24 hours as you have continued to upload image files without permissions despite a final warning. If you continue to do so once the block has expired, you will be reblocked for a longer period. If you do not understand Wikipedia's policies regarding licensing and permissions, you need to seek a mentor who can assist you - but you cannot continue to violate Wikipedia's core policies. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Nuntita Bell.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Nuntita Bell.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Proposed deletion of Bret Jackson II edit

The article Bret Jackson II has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Placing 6th in a reality show does not make one notable. Unable to find reliable references

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Speedy deletion nomination of Mild (Thai band) edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Mild (Thai band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". I'm proposing that Technological University of the Philippines-Taguig Campus be replaced by a redirect to the main article for the university, as the campus lacks notability in itself. Please discuss at Talk:Technological University of the Philippines if you have any opinion. wctaiwan (talk) 14:45, 14 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
