Image without license edit

Unspecified source/license for File:IPSC Logo by MS Sakib.svg edit

Thanks for uploading File:IPSC Logo by MS Sakib.svg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 05:01, 11 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for October 15 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Abhijit Banerjee, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bengali. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:10, 15 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Non-free rationale for File:Challenger (actor).jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Challenger (actor).jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 15:20, 15 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Whpq: Sorry, I forgot it. But I've already explained as to why it is permitted under the policy and removed that template from this file. Thanks a lot. ≈ MS Sakib  «TalK» 06:54, 16 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Image tagging for File:Darpan Chhaya 2-poster.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Darpan Chhaya 2-poster.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from or who created it. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

April 2021 edit

Hello, I'm Arjayay. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Rabindranath Ekhane Kokhono Khete Asenni, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 18:18, 19 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Arjayay. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Rabindranath Ekhane Kokhono Khete Asenni have been undone because they did not appear constructive.   Please do not add or change content, as you did at Rabindranath Ekhane Kokhono Khete Asenni, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 18:20, 19 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Rabindranath Ekhane Kokhono Khete Asenni. Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use your sandbox. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 18:20, 19 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Arjayay: Strange! I don't see any reason to revert this (special:diff/1018757643) edit. Please explain in detail. ≈ MS Sakib  «TalK» 18:24, 19 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
Which part of "unreferenced" and "spelling mistake" in the edit summary did you not understand? Since then you have, finally, added references, but have re-added the spelling mistake yet again. - Arjayay (talk) 18:33, 19 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Arjayay: Yes, it's really weird. I admit that my reference spelling was incorrect, but you did not correct it by hand, reverted it twice and removed the entire visualization paragraph. Now you say again, that information was without references. But you didn't give me a chance to add references to the article I created. You have reverted it twice as soon as I add the information. It seems to me that your reverts are vandalism. ≈ MS Sakib  «TalK» 22:25, 19 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Eagleash: Thanks for reviewing this submission. But I have some questions. 2034 FIFA World Cup will be held after 12 years. But the article is there now. It was created 17 years ago (in 2017)! The bidding process for this World Cup has yet to start. Similarly, the article about 2023 Cricket World Cup was created 10 years ago in 2013. So why can't this article be created just 5 years ago?
The reason given in the latest AFD and RFD is that there is not enough information about this World Cup. Then, there was no information on where it would be hosted, in what format and how many teams would play. But now all the information about this world cup is available. This draft article is even more informative than the 2023 Cricket World Cup article. ≈ MS Sakib  «TalK» 14:15, 2 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Eagleash. ≈ MS Sakib  «TalK» 19:43, 3 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
You are more than welcome to re-submit if you disagree. Other reviewers or the cricket project may have a different opinion. It is often the case that tournament style articles are not typically established until the preceding event is at least in progress. In F1 for example, 2023 is established as there is plenty of definite information available; subsequent seasons are still something of a 'grey area'. If re-submitting explain your reasons either at the talk page or in an AfC comment. In respect of other pages please see WP:OSE. Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 11:11, 6 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Replaceable non-free use File:Sanaul Huq.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Sanaul Huq.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Dead.rabbit (talk) 02:31, 21 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
