File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Fantomcat Titles.png edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Fantomcat Titles.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Steel1943 (talk) 15:00, 5 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

January 2018 edit

Disambiguation link notification for May 22 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited All Round to Mrs. Brown's, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Amir Khan (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Image without license edit

Unspecified source/license for File:Avenger Penguins Titles.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:Avenger Penguins Titles.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 19:45, 15 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

December 2018 edit

Please do not create, maintain or restore hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at The BFG (1989 film). If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Continued disruption will be met with blocks or other sanctions. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. IMDb is not a reliable source and none of the sources said anything that it was a theatrical film nor Universal released it in the UK. Universal only had home video rights to it in the country. Re-check your sources before you add info. FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 11:06, 24 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Jimmy Hibbert edit

Hi there, where did you get all of the information you used to create Jimmy Hibbert in one pasted edit? There are only three references in the article, and zero of them speak about Hibbert's life in any way. How do you know where Hibbert was born, who his parents were, who his brother is, where he was educated, what Hibbert did in 1973, when he left his band, etc? Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:03, 5 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

You're probably gonna give me hell for this, but I can explain. His dad, Christopher Hibbert, lived in Henley on Thames, so I assume he was born there - it says that in The Guardian. It also says that his children were Tom and Jimmy. In the "Roundabout turns again" article, it says he went to university in Manchester and did a voiceover for a milk commercial. Is that a good enough explanation? LunchTime123 (talk) 16:48, 5 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
I appreciate your reply. I assume you're talking about this article found in the Christopher Hibbert article. It says that Christopher Hibbert lived at Henley since 1954, which is several years after Jimmy was born. Which raises another question, how do you know when Jimmy was born? There is no reference to support that. And I'm still unclear on where the other information came from, like what grade school Jimmy attended. Biographies of living people have to be impeccably sourced. There are other concerns as well: if we add personal information about a subject, like a date of birth, or place of birth, or full birth name, and if that data is not widely published, we run the risk of violating the subject's privacy. So I'm not busting your chops just for fun,   I actually want to make sure that we are providing well-sourced information. Also, were you aware that the article had previously been deleted over notability concerns? If you plan to flesh out this article, you will need to properly establish that this person is notable. Does he meet the general notability guideline? Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:18, 5 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
Alright, you've rumbled me - I don't actually know where Jimmy was born, or what grade school he attended. But I can deduce that he was born on 15 July 1949, because at the time that article on The Magic Roundabout was published, which was 2007, he was 58. And the Just Voices Agency Twitter page says his birthday is 15 July, so I put the two together.LunchTime123 (talk) 19:47, 5 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

About Peter and the Wolf edit

The special first aired on ABC, so it counts as a television special (that's why I had the television infobox)

Also, while I do know Time Warner Interactive appears at the end credits from the first ABC airing, I highly doubt they distributed the special (across the internet, they are only said to be involved with the CD-ROM).

Oh, and animation companies don't have to be mentioned at the infobox.

(Probably you put these because I put the Peter and the Wolf link on the TWI (though the title in the list was specifically linked to the article's "merchandise" section) and Cosgrove Hall articles, so I'm just mentioning it to ya) :) NickBlamp (talk) 18:33, 27 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Inside Victor Lewis-Smith edit

The article Inside Victor Lewis-Smith has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Appears to fail WP:NTV and WP:GNG. Tagged for notability since 2019

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
