Disambiguation link notification for April 11 edit

Hi. When you recently edited List of awards and nominations received by Madhuri Dixit, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Indian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

September 2012 edit

Thank you for your contribution to Madhuri Dixit, but we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so please keep your edits factual and neutral. Our readers are looking for serious articles and will not find joke edits amusing. Remember that Wikipedia is a widely used reference tool, so we have to take what we do here seriously. If you'd like to experiment with editing, use the sandbox to get started. I have noticed that you added a blank section called In the Media with no content in it. Won't be tolerated hence forth. If you have any problem in understanding or you want to add any content, please feel free to ping me. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 08:47, 6 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Madhuri Dixit edit

Hi, don't just add "In the Media", if you would like to add that section then add something with reliable sources, otherwise let it be as it is as now. Torreslfchero (talk) 20:54, 6 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Madhuri Dixit. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. BollyJeff | talk 02:24, 7 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for contravening Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Madhuri Dixit, you may be blocked from editing. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 15:39, 18 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at Madhuri Dixit, you may be blocked from editing. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 04:50, 19 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

You either don't understand what is happening or turning a blind eye to the above warnings. Inspite of them, you have continuously added unnnecessary content, fabricating the text present in reliable sources, adding unnecessary sections etc. I strongly suggest you discuss the changes you want to add (which I believe you do in good faith) in the talk page of the article and reach a consensus. I have notified an administrator of your behavior. You should either stop this, else an indefinite block is emminent. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 05:50, 20 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for September 29 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 03:58, 7 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Your edits are not vandalism in themselves, you are not trying to harm the encyclopedia, but they become vandalism if you edit-war to keep putting them in if other editors revert them. You should discuss them on the talk page, and if there is not a WP:Consensus (that means agreement with other editors) to make the change, you should give up. The problem is that you want to put in more and more detail about everything she does, and other editors think that is too much, the article does not need an addition every time she goes out and has a paragraph in the newspaper. An encyclopedia is not a fan-site.
I have two suggestions: try editing Wikipedia in your native language - there is list at WP:List of Wikipedias. Perhaps the article on Madhuri Dixit in that one needs improvement. Or find a Madhuri Dixit fan site - there seem to be several - where people would be interested in every detail of her movements and activities.

can anybody tell me how long i can't edit Wikipedia's article......its so long...i acn't wait......

According to your block log, here, you've been blocked indefinitely. So, until you can show us you understand that you understand the reasons behind the block and won't do the same thing, you will be unable to edit. ~ Matthewrbowker Talk to me 03:37, 14 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

yes, I read all the unblock guidelines, I understand eveything i can use only the reliable sources to update any Madhuri's articles, i can understand its not a gossip account so plz I am confessing i did really something wrong in Madhuri's Articles......so this time im requesing plz help me and plz unblock my account as soon as possible

Decline reason:

I'm not entirely convinced that you see the problem as using bad references is only a part of this. You also violated policies on neutrality and the biographies of living persons as well as edit warring despite being warned and blocked, with absolutely no attempts to start a discussion or ask others for help (until you were blocked the last time). I'm declining this request, please read Wikipedia:Standard offer. If you can adhere to those conditions and request another unblock in around six months, someone might be willing to review and unblock (providing that you actually address the concerns related to the block). Block message:

Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Lionstaken". The reason given for Lionstaken's block is: "Violations of the Biographies of living persons policy".

Decline reason: Looks like the autoblock is working. Being blocked means being blocked, not trying to edit while not signed in. I'd say that the six months clear of misbehaviour starts afresh here. Peridon (talk) 11:08, 3 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
