Welcome edit

Hello Lightning ride and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your contributions, such as the ones to Àjàpá, do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox (but beware that the contents of the sandbox are deleted frequently) rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributors' help page, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 04:38, 6 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Recent edit to María Félix edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, María Félix, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Proposed deletion of Daniel Grau edit

The article Daniel Grau has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no indication of meeting WP:MUSICBIO notability guidelines. Only reference is to a company that releases his records. Google searches not finding WP:significant coverage in third party sources.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. noq (talk) 16:32, 23 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Nomination of Daniel Grau for deletion edit

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Daniel Grau is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Daniel Grau until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. noq (talk) 09:03, 25 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Los Apson edit

The article Los Apson has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Jannik Schwaß (talk) 07:09, 9 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Reliable sources edit

Just to let you know, Discogs is not considered an acceptable source for Wikipedia articles, because all it does is show that a record exists, but does not show that it is notable. It is also a website that can be edited by anybody, so it is not reliable. You also cannot use an artist's official website, or Bandcamp, or their social media pages (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) because these are not independent sources. Blogs are also not acceptable.

If you want to save your articles for Daniel Grau and Los Apson, you need to find sources which are independent and reliable. This means newspapers, magazines or books... not blogs or websites related to the artist. Otherwise you may find that other editors will nominate the articles for deletion again in the future. L'Homme Que Je Suis moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, L'Homme Que Je Suis, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 11:04, 23 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi there, I have moved this to draft. The source provided refers to the previous album "Divorcio" and not the 2005 album. Pls also check WP:MUSIC. I have done a brief search for independent editorial about the album, but most results that came up are sellers or download services. Julio Iglesias is obviously notable, however the musical recording needs to show its independent notability. If you have any questions, pls let me know. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 11:06, 23 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Pimpinela albums edit

A tag has been placed on Category:Pimpinela albums requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! Speedy deletion nomination of Tito Renaldo edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Tito Renaldo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0719125/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
