Draft:True House Covenant Community

You should re-evaluate your decline for Draft:True House Covenant Community. The material is used with appropriate permission as verified by VRT. This is noted in the talk page and in the AFC comments. -- Whpq (talk) 01:44, 22 August 2024 (UTC)

Will do. Thank you. Ktkvtsh (talk) 01:46, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
@Whpq, how can I undo my decline of this submission? Ktkvtsh (talk) 01:48, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
I don't know. Perhaps you can get help from a regular at AFC. -- Whpq (talk) 02:14, 22 August 2024 (UTC)

Reg: Navneeth Sundar page

Hi, Thanks for reviewing the page https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Navneeth_Sundar

I have been trying to get this page ready for Navneeth to get better visibility for him in his career as a musician. That's the intention.

I saw your comments for rejection. While it is disappointing, If May I ask which specific sections need additional references in reflist? If you could share that please. I have tried adding as many references as possible. Was a bit confident that it would get approved :-)

I thought I would reach out and get some more clarity.

Regards Senthil ACS Senthil.acs (talk) 22:34, 24 August 2024 (UTC)

There are several things I can advise you to work on. Every statement that could be argued needs an inline citation. I would remove the two images of Sundar holding up pieces of paper as they are not necessary. Currently it is looking like WP:PROMO, and Wikipedia is not meant to be a promotional tool. I have a question for you, are you being paid to create this page for Sundar? Ktkvtsh (talk) 23:26, 24 August 2024 (UTC)
Hi thanks for responding. Not at all. I am not paid for this. Navneeth is my childhood friend. I am helping in this page creation as he is not having enough time to create one for himself. Senthil.acs (talk) 01:05, 25 August 2024 (UTC)
This would be a conflict of interest as you have a relation to the subject WP:COI. This isn't allowed. I wouldn't recommend that you re-submit the draft. Ktkvtsh (talk) 01:06, 25 August 2024 (UTC)
It will be of great help if you could help me with this page. I will try to edit the page with more inline citations and remove those that are just claims without citations.
What options do I have if there is a conflict of interest? Thanks for helping. Senthil.acs (talk) 01:10, 25 August 2024 (UTC)
As of right now, Sundar does not meet the notability guidelines, so there is nothing we can do right now. Review the hyperlinked page to learn more about notability. Ktkvtsh (talk) 01:12, 25 August 2024 (UTC)
Thanks @Ktkvtsh I will try to work based on the guidelines. Senthil.acs (talk) 01:15, 25 August 2024 (UTC)

Draft:Kristin van Zwieten

Hi, could you re-evaluate your decline for Draft:Kristin van Zwieten? I believe the notability requirement has been met. Multiple independent sources (i.e., many court judgments) have been cited to demonstrate that her work is regularly cited and has a influential impact in the highest courts in England and Hong Kong (which is the highest achievement for legal academics and would also meet requirement "7. The person has made substantial impact outside academia in their academic capacity").

Moreover and alternatively, I believe the notability requirement "5.The person has held a distinguished professor appointment at a major institution of higher education and research" has been met as she is a tenured and named professor (Clifford Chance Professor of Law and Finance) at the Faculty of Law at the University of Oxford which clearly a major institution of higher education and research? Chadwick02138 (talk) 20:13, 27 August 2024 (UTC)

Add more personal information, such as where Zwieten is from and a date of birth. Then, resubmit the draft for another reviewer to re-evaluate. Ktkvtsh (talk) 20:17, 27 August 2024 (UTC)

Draft declination

Hello! Thanks for reviewing my draft, Imon Boy. Could you give me more information regarding the issue with the sources? Everything is sourced, and I use the Cite Highlighter script and it didn’t mark any of them as unreliable. -- NotCharizard 🗨 05:14, 26 August 2024 (UTC)

I have undone my review of the draft, allowing another reviewer to assess it. Ktkvtsh (talk) 20:21, 27 August 2024 (UTC)

Ken Cuthbertson rejection

@Ktkvtsh, you rejected Ken Cuthbertson as not notable. I disagreed with the review, worked on it, and accepted it to article namespace. I understand it isn't easy sometimes but keep trying. Thanks for your usual kind reviews. Cheers! Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 06:12, 9 September 2024 (UTC)

James Howell comment follow up

Hello. You commented the James Howell (Artist) draft page that "The entirety of the Exhibitions section was copied and pasted from the James Howell Foundation website." As the citations show, the exhibition history is taken primarily from newspaper announcements and some are from the Charlotte Jackson website. I can understand issues with the Charlotte Jackson site as they may have pulled from the JHF website, but the newspaper articles are completely secondary sources. It certainly is not just copied and pasted from the James Howell website. The information is the same because exhibition lists follow a standard template for delivering information. Could you please elaborate on the issue with the exhibition list? Mlism (talk) 19:37, 25 September 2024 (UTC)

Draft:Robert Eddison (aphorist)

Hi, I see you declined this article for layout and citation style problems. Please don't do that - WP:AFCPURPOSE is very clear on this point: Issues that do not affect the likelihood of success at AFD (e.g., halo effects like formatting) should not be considered. Thank you. -- asilvering (talk) 19:47, 2 October 2024 (UTC)

Dear Ktkvtsh,

I see you have rejected this draft because you believe it contains a copyright violation. However the article in Co-op News with which you have compared it was not written until _after_ the draft in question, and was indeed based on it (rather than the reverse).

Therefore opease reconsider the draft for publication. TobyJ (talk) 09:06, 8 October 2024 (UTC)

@TobyJ You can resubmit it to be reviewed by another user. Ktkvtsh (talk) 19:22, 8 October 2024 (UTC)
