File source problem with File:Thrianta rabbit on hay.jpeg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Thrianta rabbit on hay.jpeg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Speedy deletion nomination of Blue-tailed Skink (disambiguation)

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Blue-tailed Skink (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. I noticed that you moved a page. I think there is a problem that should be cleaned up: please see Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Archive268#Page move cleanup. Proposed deletion of Salamanders as pets

edit

The article Salamanders as pets has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Wikipedia is not a 'how to'. This article is an essay or Original research. Unreferenced.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Salamanders as pets

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Salamanders as pets requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://animals.pawnation.com/create-perfect-salamander-habitat-11640.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. edit

Your addition to Bibron's gecko has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text, or images borrowed from other websites, or printed material without a verifiable license; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. I have reverted your redirection of Blue-tailed Skink to the DAB page you created at Blue-tailed Skink (disambiguation). Cryptoblepharus egeriae is not one of the three entries on the DAB page. What is your intention here? Please start communicating. Thanks. -- Sam Sing! 01:21, 25 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Would you please stop and talk for a minute? Your recent creation of Blue-Tailed Rainbow Skink is yet another title that goes against the policy in WP:TITLEFORMAT. -- Sam Sing! 10:39, 25 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia. You have clearly been copying text from other websites, both under this user name and without signing in.[1][2][3] Do not copy text from sites or articles. You have made numerous contentious page moves, without discussion. Do not move articles without discussing the issue first. You have made unsourced, inexplicable or otherwise disruptive changes to numerous articles. If you do not understand the warnings you have received on this talk page, ask for assistance before editing again. If you continue any of these behaviors, you will be blocked from editing, likely permanently. SummerPhD (talk) 15:06, 2 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

The more I look, the more instances of copied text I find. As some of them have minor changes that make it a bit harder to find them, I am reverting all unsourced additions of blocks of text I find that you have made. If any of the additions were not copyright violations, feel free to restore them with a citation to a reliable source. - SummerPhD (talk) 16:04, 2 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. Sockpuppet investigation

edit

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Koko Nigel, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
