List of arduino boards in Wikidata

Hi, I see you are one of top three contributor in "List of Arduino boards and compatible systems" How about including List of Arduino boards in Wikidata?

This would let to structure all this information because we should be able to use propierties like these https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:WikiProject_Objects.

Maybe would be good to add a new column in tables with the links to wikidata items like this https://tools.wmflabs.org/reasonator/?q=Q25814150 or create list directly from wikidata

I start creating some list examples:

• Example : List of arduino official boards Here, using Wikidata Query Service is possible to query "items manufactured by Arduino LCC company" equivalent to said "offical arduino boards"
• Example : List of arduino compatible boards Using Reasonator you can see all items that are instance of "Arduino Compatible board" item (source: Arduino-compatible_boards).
• Example : List of arduino compatible shields Same as above but this time value for "instance of" is "Arduino Compatible Shield"(source: http://shieldlist.org/).

@MShabazz: You should read the whole sentence before deleting it. It reads "according to Silverstein, was an FBI specialist translating wiretaps from Israel's Washington embassy". If you look further, Leibowitz denies that fact. Who do you believe? I don't care but you can't state it as a fact! Please reply or revert. Kigelim (talk) 06:31, 19 August 2016 (UTC)

@MShabazz: Why would this article even be covered by WP:ARBPIA3#500/30?? 99% of it deals with Israel alone. The fact Silverstein support one side or another is irrelevant as you wrote "If you think Silverstein is notable, feel free to start an article about him. First, read WP:ARBPIA3#500/30. It says "any page that could be reasonably construed as being related to the Arab-Israeli conflict." If you don't think Tikun Olam (blog) -- especially the section about Shamai Leibowitz -- is related to the Arab-Israeli conflict, please ask an administrator.

Second, I wrote that the problem with your edits to that article is neutrality. I noticed that you didn't bother to respond to that. You're also still hounding Silverstein on Wikipedia despite being told to leave him alone.

@MShabazz: My first edit was cut and clear making a previous edit more accurate. The article was not ABOUT THE BLOG but a story that involved the blog. Please don't tell me you don't see the difference. Then, moving Leibovitz out of the "reporting" section is very logical as that story was about the blog and the leak.

Next edit, while need a revision and moving the "according to Silverstein" after the FBI and before the translator, is once again accurate.

Last edit is sourced well.

I can't see a reason the delete any of them but one minor revision which you used as an excuse to delete all. Somehow, the original IP editor which added the NYT wasn't slamed with warnings about WP:ARBPIA3 threats but rather you have reverted it after its removal. Kigelim (talk) 14:50, 22 August 2016 (UTC)

Hello. Your recent edit to Graph database appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Agreed. The contributions being made are not appropriate for this article, but for more reasons than may be realized. GermanJoe, you may not have noticed the solicitation request made immediately above this section within the user's talk page. Gkorland is Guy Korland, a senior employee of Redis Labs. You previously warned Gkorland about his COI on his talk page. Appears Gkorland has publicly solicited the help of Kigelim to get Redis added to the page. Proof available on (talk).

@GermanJoe: I disagree. As soon as asoftware gets coverage from an WP:RS there is no logical reason to leave it out. Some of the software included are probably not supported by now. Redis Time Series is mention in a book. What else do you need? Kigelim (talk) 17:47, 25 August 2019 (UTC)

Forbes contributor articles are generally not considered reliable on Wikipedia (as opposed to Forbes staff articles), see also WP:RSP. In this specific case, the author is a marketing specialist just repeating company talking points fresh from the product developers' own press releases and documentations. This is at best an opinion piece, but not a reliable source to assess a company's or product's notability. Editors should be cautious when using branche-internal and marketing-focussed sources - companies clearly have a vested interest in promoting their products here on Wikipedia. The only effective hurdle to limit advertising is to insist on non-promotional, reliable sources and/or an existing stand-alone article for such lists. I'll remove the entry per WP:BRD pending further discussion on article talk or a better source. I'd be glad to discuss this issue or other disagreements on article talk when needed.
