I write the Tikun Olam blog. Most of my activity in Wikipedia has related to articles about the Israeli-Arab conflict. My special interests are national politics, U.S. foreign policy, Jewish-Muslim relations, Jewish culture, world music and popular culture. I am fluent in Hebrew and also read Yiddish. I've writtten for the L.A. Times, Haaretz, Comment is Free (The Guardian), Middle East Eye, Mint Press News, Christian Science Monitor and the Seattle Times. I've been interviewed for articles in the NY Times, Seattle Post Intelligencer, Jewish Forward, Jewish Week and Jewish Journal. I contributed a chapter to the book, A Time to Speak Out (Verso) about the Lebanon War. I will have a chapter published in a new book about the question of one or two-state solution, Israel and Palestine: Alternate Perspectives on Statehood (Rowman & Littlefield).

I would be happy to contribute to, or write Wikipedia articles on any of these subjects.

I live in Seattle with my family.
