Hello, I'm Utcursch. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Bhonsle, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. utcursch | talk 11:56, 5 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Karan Baisla Jdb Village.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Karan Baisla Jdb Village.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.   Please do not add or change content, as you did at Baisla, without citing a reliable source. You have already been informed, in October, that the sources you're citing are not reliable sources (see WP:RS). Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. utcursch | talk 16:09, 17 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Again: veergujjar.proboards.com is not a reliable source by Wikipedia standards. Please don't add the same content again and again. utcursch | talk 17:02, 5 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

The Wikipedia community has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions on any editor who is active on any page about social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties, related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in further inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or a topic ban. The discussion leading to the imposition of these sanctions can be read here.

Topic banned

edit

For repeated addition of poorly sourced or unsourced content to Baisla, including the possibility of off-wiki coordination, I have decided, in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator under the terms of this community discussion, to impose the following sanction on you:

topic banned from editing about social groups or castes of South Asia across any namespace (including user pages, user talk pages, articles, article talk pages etc

This sanction has been logged at Wikipedia:General sanctions/South Asian social groups. If the sanction includes a ban, please read the banning policy to ensure you understand what this means. If you do not comply with this sanction, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.

You may appeal this sanction to the community at the administrators' noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me on my talk page, before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything of the above is unclear to you. —SpacemanSpiff 08:02, 8 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

This edit is a violation of your topic ban. Any further violations will result in you being blocked. —SpacemanSpiff 08:50, 8 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
