Speedy deletion nomination of Climate Change & Effects

edit

Hello KChukudi,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Graeme Bartlett, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Climate Change & Effects, for deletion, because there's already a page about that topic at Climate change. Please don't be discouraged; we appreciate your effort in creating new articles. To avoid this in the future, consider using the search function to find pages that already cover what you want to write about.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Graeme Bartlett}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Thank you for uploading File:Spider-silk-is-spun-by.jpg. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Vladlen Manilov / 11:00, 21 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Multidimensional Poverty Impacts on Education

edit

Hi. I moved your draft from Multidimensional Poverty Impacts on Education to User:KChukudi/Poverty.

Your draft isn't ready for mainspace. Please have a look at page 7-9 in the Editing Wikipedia brochure (linked here) to get a sense of what the general structure of an article should be like. I also moved your spider silk draft to User:KChukudi/Spider silk, which is a better place to work on it until you're ready to move it like. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 17:25, 22 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Okay, I have seen your comment on my work, but I need to understand exactly what me to do. Thank you KChukudi (talk) 06:49, 9 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
What exactly do you want me to add, and what do you want me to remove? This will me move it . KChukudi (talk) 06:51, 9 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

CS1 error on Statista

edit

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Statista, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A "bare URL and missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 20:38, 22 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Noted, please thank you. KChukudi (talk) 07:41, 5 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

National varieties of English

edit

Hello. In a recent edit to the page SynbiCITE, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the first author of the article used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. Anaxial (talk) 21:52, 27 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Your contributed article, KChukudi/National Woman Suffrage Association

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, KChukudi/National Woman Suffrage Association. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – National Woman Suffrage Association. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at National Woman Suffrage Association. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Wikishovel (talk) 11:34, 22 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Your sandbox

edit

Hi. I noticed you've moved your sandbox to mainspace twice now. All you're doing by moving it is creating a Wikipedia article called KChukudi/sandbox. This doesn't change the content of any other article, or anything like that. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 15:07, 22 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for letting me. It could have been done in error. Noted please! KChukudi (talk) 15:41, 22 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Your edits are introducing errors

edit

Hi. Are you running some sort of script or AI? The last couple of articles you have edited have introduced strange errors. See Anne Dallas Dudley and Shelby County v. Holder, name and then the 'see also' section of Shelby. Jip Orlando (talk) 19:01, 22 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for letting me know, I will cross check and effect necessary corrections KChukudi (talk) 19:10, 22 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Can you clarify what you mean by cross check? What are you cross checking, and are you using a script or AI/LLM in making these edits? - Aoidh (talk) 04:36, 23 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Okay, noted! KChukudi (talk) 09:12, 23 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
cross-check means to verify a claim. Thank you KChukudi (talk) 09:15, 23 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Please stop editing via script/AI/LLM. Your edits are introducing bad errors. You are responsible for each edit you make. This will go to a noticeboard for further review if you keep doing this. Jip Orlando (talk) 14:30, 23 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for pointing out these errors for correction or deletion. I will try to adhere to the rules. KChukudi (talk) 08:33, 24 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
The errors that this user is introducing are an extraordinary headache for other users to clean up. The edits look reasonable on the surface but introduce obvious errors (which are somewhat easy to clean up) but also subtle errors (that impose a huge burden on others to clean up). This can't be allowed to continue. Thenightaway (talk) 14:43, 23 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistently making disruptive edits.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Aoidh (talk) 22:33, 23 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
After acknowledging that your edits were introducing errors above, your edits continue to do so. You are also continuing to use misleading edit summaries that not only do not reflect the edit, but in that example your edit added a citation that had nothing to do with the article's subject and as far as I can tell did not support the content it was attached to in any way (and as a note neither of these edits should have been marked as minor edits). There are concerns about your edits being made with a script or LLM and whether it's that or some other issue causing it, your edits continue to introduce errors that are problematic. In order to be unblocked you need to explain the reason for these continued issues, what is causing them, and convince the unblocking administrator that it will not continue. - Aoidh (talk) 22:41, 23 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
