- The general rule of thumb is that articles on topics that are forthcoming are inappropriate for articles. See Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. For films in particular. see Wikipedia:Notability (films)#Future films, incomplete films, and undistributed films. Does the film meet the specific criteria mentioned there? If so, please describe what reliable sources exist to demonstrate that it meets that criteria (I'm not sure that younews qualifies as a reliable source, and even if it does, no article with verifiable content beyond one sentence could be based on such a tiny tidbit of information). If you can do that, a follow-up helpme request about what specifically you need help with to create the article would be welcome. See generally, Wikipedia:Your first article.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 15:56, 23 August 2015 (UTC)

- Hi there @Jyotimatta: MSG:_The_Messenger already exists - what exactly do you want to add to it? Samuel Tarling (talk) 15:19, 24 August 2015 (UTC)
yup, but this is a sequel to MSG:_The Messenger with the name MSG-2:The Messenger and therefore a new article MSG-2:The Messenger is needed and has been created also .just want to list it as part of "list of films of 2015" on wikipedia. for which references have been submitted. Thanks for the help.

editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page MSG: The Messenger has been reverted.
Your edit here to MSG: The Messenger was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline. The reference(s) you added or changed (http://www.bollywoodlife.com/news-gossip/gurmeet-ram-rahim-singhs-msg-2-the-messenger-to-hit-theaters-on-september-18/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Please use caution with copyrighted material
editHi there, I'm writing in regard to this edit at MSG-2. We are allowed to use quotations in articles but 1) they must be presented as quotations (i.e. wrapped in quote marks) and 2) they must be properly attributed (i.e. we should say "So-and-so described the movie as, 'revolving around the reformation...'") and 3) we cannot base large portions of an article on quoted material. (That's not really relevant here, but it is worth knowing.) Adding a reference was the right thing to do, but there was no indication that the content you added was a quotation, or who we were quoting. This is especially problematic since this same content appears here and here, so my guess is that it is text from a press release. Wikipedia takes copyright violations seriously, so please be very careful about how you present such material. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:06, 26 August 2015 (UTC)
- Your edit here was problematic for the same reasons. Do not indiscriminately include copyrighted content at Wikipedia. Doing so only weakens the article. In addition to still being improperly formatted and attributed, what you added is not a synopsis of the plot, it's vague promotional content that tells us nothing about the story. If you add copyrighted content again, I will revoke your editing privileges. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:20, 27 August 2015 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of MSG The Messenger Series
editHello Jyotimatta,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged MSG The Messenger Series for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Musa Talk 06:30, 2 September 2015 (UTC)
WP:PRIMARY and Estimation template
editHi Jyotimatta, I have two concerns about these edits you recently made at MSG-2 The Messenger. The first issue is that you have inexplicably removed the estimation template that is wrapped in an instruction not to remove it. A community discussion was held at WP:ICTF and consensus was established to include this template in Indian cinema articles. Please do not remove the template. The second matter is that you increased the box office gross estimates, but the reference you used cites a spokesperson for the film's production company as the source of the information. This is insufficient. We cannot use a primary source as a reference for what is obviously controversial information. The film's production company would absolutely have an incentive to inflate the box office data, because it is trying to promote a movie. We require reliable independent sources, and this was not provided by the reference you used. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 12:38, 30 September 2015 (UTC)
MSG2 - Sloppy editing
editHi, I've had to fix a significant portion of the content you submitted in these edits. Everything from spelling errors, grammar errors, spacing errors, number formatting errors, capitalization errors, promotional statements like "huge crowds flocking", and so on. You also changed the |gross=
parameter without providing the two references we need for verification, which was very confusing and took me a while to figure out. When you make careless edits like these, you create more work for other editors who are already overworked. Please pay closer attention to how the rest of the article is formatted, and please elevate the quality of your edits. Competence is required at Wikipedia. If you continue to make edits that create work for other editors to clean up, you will likely wind up blocked. If you're not confident you can edit properly, you should ask editors for help on the article's talk page so that the content can go into the article correctly the first time. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 01:41, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
- Last warning. I can't keep holding your hand as you make sloppy edits like this. Crore is not capitalized (we probably shouldn't be using that term anyway since nobody outside of India understand what that means). "Office" is not a proper noun, and should not be capitalized. What happened to the ₹ symbols? If another user introduced problematic content, revert to the last good version, but do not introduce sloppy content. It just creates more work for other users and is disruptive. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 07:14, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
I've removed some of the content you've added in this edit. Your assertion that "The Film has earned 395.15 Cr" is based on this reference, which clearly attributes the film's spokesperson as the source of the 777 shows and the total box office gross to date. We do not use primary sources as the source of clearly controversial content like box office gross. A film spokesperson would absolutely have a reason to lie about how much the film has made. And even if he's telling the truth, it doesn't matter. We don't use primary sources for this. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 18:51, 14 November 2015 (UTC)

Stop copying
editCopying is academically dishonest and lazy. Here you copied content directly from here. Don't do this again. Content must be written from scratch in your own words, not plagiarised. Copied content constitutes a copyright violation. I've previously educated you about this. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:26, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
