Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Zou Presbyterian Church Synod

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Zou Presbyterian Church Synod requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://web.archive.org/web/20110824043912/http://pciga.org/sub.php?sub=manipurs.php. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.   Hi Jamsianmung! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Zou Presbyterian Church Synod several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Zou Presbyterian Church Synod, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Wikishovel (talk) 16:15, 13 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

The article Zou Presbyterian Church Synod has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence found of any notability from independent sources.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Hello, Jamsianmung,
The AFD decision was to Merge this page into another article so it was converted to a Redirect. This consensus AFD decision will be enforced so please do not undo the Redirection. If you would like to try to recreate the article that was deleted, please create a verion in Draft space or your User space like your Sandbox. Submit it to Articles for Creation for review and, hopefully, approval. If you ut a new version directly into main space, it will be deleted or moved to Draft space. Thank you. Liz Read!   Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Manipur Gam Presbytery (MGP), from its old location at User:Jamsianmung. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 00:57, 31 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
