I'm on the ball ha ha. Did you get my message about how to do the referencing?

Hi

edit

Hope I am doing this right, I take it you are a fellow Salop fan? - Can I ask, as you seem to know, how you place a reference to a page?

For example, do you write the peice of information - eg "Ryan Woods signed a new deal with STFC" - and then put [WWW.LINK.CO.UK]

do i put anything at the base of the page?

Cheers — Preceding unsigned comment added by ProudSalopian (talkcontribs) 11:10, 13 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

edit

Hi,

Thanks for helping to keep the Shrewsbury Town players' appearances updated. When you update a page though please only do so after a game has finished and not before or during. When you updated Gozie Ugwu's page before the game on Saturday it gives the impression to the casual reader that he had already made five appearances and that game would be his sixth.

Hi, he has been re-added to the squad list on the back of the Shrewsbury Town matchday programmes over the Christmas period as Number 2. I'll try to find an internet reference. Happy New Year to you too!
That's fine. It will be on BBC Football once he makes a league appearance. :) JMHamo (talk) 23:35, 31 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi,

First of all I apprecaiate you willing to learn and improve, many just ignore and move on as they have edited before. I am sorry if I were a bit aggressive in my edit summary, no excuse but I was a bit angry yesterday IRL, so I hope I did not offend you. How to use the goal template in a correct way can be read at Template:goal (I think all info is correct except you can add more than 5 goals now). You might also want to read Template:Football box collapsible were an example of a update is provided and all parameters explained, (for example it says how to use stack, we should not stack bottom match but the rest). It also explaines to use linebreak(<br> or <br />)in goals-parameter. The best thing is to look at older matches (like the ones I fixed yesterday) and copy those. If you have any questions just ask and I will try my best to help you. QED237 (talk) 21:24, 19 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Qed237: Hi, no offense taken. Thanks for the advice, please give me some time to digest this properly and I will work on bringing this up to scratch in the next few days.

Thanks for the advice, cant find anything to suggest otherwise but its obvious he isnt 6ft! heyho! Will also keep in mind your comments re: other edits!
