Deception Point edit

Hi. Please do not add unsourced material or original research to articles, as you did with these edits to Deception Point, as this violates Wikipedia's policies of No Original Research and Verifiability. There is no such edition mentioned at the source you cited. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 08:29, 9 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi, re this edit; please note that per WP:WDATA, all interlanguage links are now stored in Wikidata - see d:Special:ItemByTitle/enwiki/An Adventure in Space and Time. --Redrose64 (talk) 16:50, 16 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for October 8 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The city of the heroes, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Alexander Hug. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Proposed deletion of Standalone film edit

The article Standalone film has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This is a dictionary definition, and a poorly written one that synthesizes derived terms that are not actually in the sources (which themselves don't define the term at art, just use two common words together).

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

You were rudely not notified by Oknazevad (talk · contribs) of this proposed deletion, so here's the PROD for you to check it out. 82.26.59.181 (talk) 08:51, 20 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

My apologies. I thought I had clicked the link for a bot to send a notification, but apparently I forgot. oknazevad (talk) 17:18, 20 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for notifying. I'm pretty sure that such thing as "standalone film" deserves for an article in Wiki, because it is commonly used in media. But I agree that it should be bigger and better sourced. Also my English is not good enough, so I ask You to help me to improve this article. Sincerely --Ivasykus (talk) 17:30, 20 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Sofiia Lyskun edit

The article Sofiia Lyskun has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Subject fails WP:NATHLETE.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hello, Ivasykus. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Sofiia Lyskun, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Famousbirthdays.com as a source edit

Hi Ivasykus. I'm in the process of removing famousbirthdays.com as a source from Wikipedia, because it's not reliable (See Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_153#Is_famousbirthdays.com_a_reliable_source_for_personal_information). I noticed that you've added it, and wanted to make sure you understood why it's being removed. If you disagree, let's discuss it. Thanks. --Ronz (talk) 22:41, 21 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi. That's ok, I've got it. It's hard for me to find sources in English, so I will be really glad for any help. Sincerely, --Ivasykus (talk) 22:43, 21 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

July 2017 edit

Hello, I'm Erik. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Tom Glynn-Carney, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 13:59, 22 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for January 12 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Nathan McMullen, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Paint Your Wagon (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Deletion discussion about Jackson Robert Scott edit

Hello, Ivasykus,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Jackson Robert Scott should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jackson Robert Scott .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Bandersnatch edit

Hi! I'm sorry to have been going around reverting all of your edits, but we simply can't start articles and sections about television content which hasn't been released yet, per WP:CRYSTAL. A draft for the article already exists in a hidden comment at the redirect Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, and you are welcome to expand it with reliably sourced material. Armenia/Azerbaijan discretionary sanctions edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in Armenia, Azerbaijan, or related conflicts. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

October 2022 edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at uxx. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Also the {{flagg|uxx|blank}} blank template is not used as that creates a white flag and the players do no play under a white flag... they play under "no" flag. We used {{flagicon|}} instead in tournaments. Fyunck(click) (talk) 20:41, 19 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

If you insist there is a difference between "white flag" and "no flag", then just use "no flag". Russian tennis players do not represent Russia now, they represent no country, so the Russian flag can't be used. Ivasykus (talk) 12:32, 23 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
We use no flag for tournaments, as the ATP stated. But their software is broken because it's all or nothing... even players from years ago. We remove the flag from all tournaments but not from rankings, especially because pert of this year their flag is allowed even at tournaments. Fyunck(click) (talk) 06:38, 31 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please stop removing flag icons edit

We can't use the ATP website for this because they removed the flags from all years in their history, which is a fabrication. Their software doesn't allow them the ability to remove the flags only for tournaments. Thanks. Fyunck(click) (talk) 06:35, 31 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
