Happy New Year!

Dear Indubitably/Archive 59,
I just wanted to wish you and your family a happy new year, however you're celebrating it. Whether 2009 was a good year for you, or if it wasn't the greatest year, hopefully 2010 will be better. Cheers, and happy editing in 2010.

GA Sweeps update

Thanks to everyone's efforts to the GA Sweeps process, we are currently over 90% done with only 226 articles remain to be swept! As always, I want to thank you for using your time to ensure the quality of the older GAs. With over 50 members participating in Sweeps, that averages out to about 4 articles per person! If each member reviews an article once a week this month (or several!), we'll be completely finished. At that point, awards will be handed out to reviewers. As an added incentive, if we complete over 100 articles reviewed this month, I will donate $100 to Wikipedia Forever on behalf of all GA Sweeps participants. I hope that this incentive will help to increase our motivation for completing Sweeps while supporting Wikipedia in the process. If you have any questions about reviews or Sweeps let me know and I'll be happy to get back to you. Again, thank you for taking the time to help with the process, I appreciate your efforts! --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 00:07, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

I was hoping that we'd have another one for reviewers who didn't review as many. I was only planning on giving out some generic barnstars, so if we can still create one that'd be great. Thanks for the heads-up. --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 00:26, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
I have Photoshop, but I'm not very artistic, so I'd prefer you give it a try (or we can find another editor who may be interested). The GA medal could work, maybe just by altering the color and adding Sweeps to the ribbon. --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 01:19, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
That works for me. Are you interested in handing out the awards at the conclusion, or would you like me to do it? --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 01:25, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
Looks good. I'll let you know when the drive is done, which I'm really hoping is soon. --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 00:41, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

Ironholds RFA

Thank you very much for your suggestion, but all of my questions have to do with the user's future admin status and how he will use his powers. Furthermore, there are not a few questioners that are continuing to ask questions even after they voted, so why can't I ask a few to help me make up my mind. I also have been not on a eight-month wikibreak, but have been away from the computer for twenty months, as I last edited in March 2008. That is why I need a little extra time to get up to speed on things. Most importantly, Ironholds himself said that he didn't mind answering the questions, see this edit summary I do appreciate the guidance and thank you. Have a good new year, Average White Dork (talk) 06:11, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

Thank you. I have no intentions to run for bureaucrat, but in the unlikely event that it will happen, I am glad I've now saved you the trouble of having to consider how to vote. I'll respond to the substance of your post on the RFB. Ucucha 21:18, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

Fall Out Boy

Good effort. It looks like it will take some more work. You may want to try GAC again, but a PR first would not hurt.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 06:18, 21 January 2010 (UTC)

I'd rather not. I have zero desire to take an article I fixed during review through the month long process of GAR after a two week PR. Far better things to do with my time. Lara 15:45, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
The remaining issues are pretty minor: I could probably fix some of them myself. I'd be surprised if substantial new ones were raised. Individual reviews and reassessments can vary in quality. Community reassessment is always available to resolve disagreements. Geometry guy 23:36, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
Hey G'guy. It went to GAR. I took it there following the delistment. I don't think there were any comments for quite a while and I'm now too busy to worry about it. Thanks anyway. Lara 00:30, 27 January 2010 (UTC)

Two over two days, y'mean? Unless there was an additional (third) meeting on the Saturday I wasn't aware of. That's fine; I can get a bus in, and I know Coffee will be around all day. Ironholds (talk) 15:29, 28 January 2010 (UTC)

Two in one day is too much. Your hotel offers a free shuttle from the airport, or I can pick you up if you want to do lunch, but I don't think it's a good idea to have it be part of the events. Depending on when Chet arrives, the four of us can do a quick lunch; but hanging out for lunch from 1-3, then having dinner at 6 would be bad times. Lara 15:41, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
Shuttle sounds good. I'd suggest either dinner and the following lunch, or just the following lunch, then. Ironholds (talk) 13:55, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
That's currently the plan. The lunch is for sure. We'll possibly do the dinner too. Lara 22:57, 29 January 2010 (UTC)

WikiCup 2010 January newsletter

We are half way through round one of the WikiCup. We've had some shakeups regarding late entries, flag changes and early dropouts, but the competition is now established- there will be no more flag changes or new competitors. Congratulations to   Sasata (submissions), our current leader, who, at the time of writing, has more listed points than   Hunter Kahn (submissions) and   TonyTheTiger (submissions) (second and third place respectively) combined. A special well done also goes to   Fetchcomms (submissions)- his artcle Jewel Box (St. Louis, Missouri) was the first content to score points in the competition.

Around half of competitors are yet to score. Please remember to submit content soon after it is promoted, so that the judges are able to review entries. 64 of the 149 current competitors will advance to round 2- if you currently have no points, do not worry, as over half of the current top 64 have under 50 points. Everyone needs to get their entries in now to guarantee their places in round 2! If you are concerned that your nomination will not receive the necessary reviews, and you hope to get it promoted before the end of the round, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. However, please remember to continue to offer reviews at GAC, FAC and all the other pages that require them to prevent any backlogs which could otherwise be caused by the Cup. As ever, questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup and the judges are reachable on their talk pages, by email or on IRC. Good luck! Talk:Eastern Front (World War II)

Lara, with all due respect, what the sweet fuck are you talking about? "Image is famous, so fuck the NFCC"? J Milburn (talk) 02:20, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

Look, I could really do with another voice of reason in that thread. It would be great if you could actually read the discussion so far, and join in as appropriate. Your comment really quite alarmed me- "Images with iconic status or historical importance: As subjects of commentary" are listed as a type of image that can be used, "providing they meet both the legal criteria for fair use, and Wikipedia's own guidelines for non-free content". In any case, that's from the guideline page- the guidelines discussing possible practical applications of our policy. How you interpretted that to mean they can "bypass the non-free content criteria" really is beyond me. Also, note that this doesn't even meet that definition- the image is not by any stretch of the imagination the subject of commentary. This is all somewhat irrelevent, as it has nothing to do with the discussion at hand. J Milburn (talk) 02:37, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

Fuck yes! This is what I'm talking about. This is how all conversations should start on this project.
Okay, so what am I talking about? You removed an iconic image (see Yevgeny Khaldei) from an article where it's extremely relevant. That it's not discussed in the article is surprising. That considered, it soon will be, then the issue should be resolved. Lara 03:22, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
If the fucking image was discussed in the shitting article, I would have no cunting aversion to it crapping well being used alongside the bitching description. Of course, that would not make it appropriate in the shagging lead, where it could cocking well be replaced by a bastarding free photo/map from or of the bollocksing battle. J Milburn (talk) 13:35, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
Now that just seems contrived. Expletives should come naturally, J. You've got to let them flow from your lips or your fingertips. Also, bastarding? I think you're just making things up now.
Anyway, the image is fucking iconic. ICONIC!! And undeniably saturated with historical significance. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE!! A picture is worth a thousands words, ya know. Maps aren't worth nearly as much. Srsly. Go check prices. This particular image is one of the most iconic images in all of history. It really is unfortunate that in the face of zero legal concern, our readers would be denied such a deeply relevant image. Lara 20:36, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
The image is non-free, regardless of how iconic or apparently economically worthless it is. As such, we must treat it as non-free- if it is to be used, it must be used for a specific pupose which adds significantly to the article, and must be used only if a free image could not be used in its place. Therefore, if we use it to illustrate itself (as in, if we use it to illustrate discussion about that picture) it would be both of these things- however, the use of the image as a general illustration of the battle would not be legitimate, as it could be replaced. This isn't particularly difficult; the issue primarily seems to be that people don't like the fact that it is non-free, which, sadly, it is. (For what it's worth, I have actually used the word "bastarding" before. I'm all for equality of the sexes, so if we can have "bitching", we can have "bastarding". You must be some kind of sexist.) February GA Sweeps update

Progress as of January 2010

Thanks to everyone's efforts to the GA Sweeps process, we are currently over 95% done with around 130 articles left to be swept! Currently there are over 50 members participating in Sweeps, that averages out to about 3 articles per person! If each member reviews an article once a week this month (or several!), we'll be completely finished. At that point, awards will be handed out to reviewers. Per my message last month, although we did not review 100 articles last month, I still made a donation of $90 (we had 90 reviews completed/initiated) to Wikipedia Forever on behalf of all GA Sweeps reviewers. I would like to thank everyone's efforts for last month, and ask for additional effort this month so we can be finished. I know you have to be sick of seeing these updates (as well as Sweeps itself) by now, so please do consider reviewing a few articles if you haven't reviewed in a while. If you have any questions about reviews or Sweeps let me know and I'll be happy to get back to you. Again, thank you for taking the time to help with the process, I appreciate your efforts! --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 02:34, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Protection on Travis Outlaw

Hi- I'm curious why you used such an extended period of protection on Travis Outlaw. (one year, never had protection before, no indiciations of BLP in your message). Per your talk page header, I've dialed the protection down to 3 days (to keep it from going crazy due to current trade rumors). I'll apologize in advance if I've stepped on your toes with this. Thanks- and BTW, you'll see what prompted this on my talk page. tedder (talk) 05:56, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

If it makes sense to you to set the protection to expire at a time that it's probably going to get hit hardest, then that's your decision to make. I'm not an admin anymore, so my opinion is pretty much irrelevant at this point. As for the first portion of your post, it was probably one of the original User:Lar/Liberal Semi requests. Your opinion on this is welcome. Okip 02:20, 24 February 2010 (UTC)

WikiCup 2010 February newsletter

Round one is over, and round two has begun! Congratulations to the 64 contestants who have made it through, but well done and thank you to all contestants who took part in our first round. A special well done goes to   Sasata (submissions), our round one winner (1010 points), and to   Hunter Kahn (submissions) and   TonyTheTiger (submissions), who were second and third respectively (640 points/605 points). Sasata was awarded the most points for both good articles (300 points) and featured articles (600 points), and TonyTheTiger was awarded the most for featured topics (225 points), while Hunter Kahn claimed the most for good topics (70).   Staxringold (submissions) claimed the most featured lists (240 points) and featured pictures (35 points),   Geschichte (submissions) claimed the most for Did you know? entries (490 points),   Jujutacular (submissions) claimed the most for featured sounds (70 points) and   Candlewicke (submissions) claimed the most for In the news entries (40 points). No one claimed a featured portal or valued picture.

Credits awarded after the end of round one but before round two may be claimed in round two, but remember the rule that content must have been worked on in some significant way during 2010 by you for you to claim points. The groups for round two will be placed up shortly, and the submissions' pages will be blanked. This round will continue until 28 April, when the top two users from each group, as well as 16 wildcards, will progress to round three. Please remember to continue to offer reviews at GAC, FAC and all the other pages that require them to prevent any backlogs which could otherwise be caused by the Cup; thank you to all doing this last round, and particularly to those helping at Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. GA Sweeps Completed!

Thanks to everyone's amazing efforts in February, we have reviewed all of the articles and are now finished with Sweeps! There are still about 30 articles currently on hold, and once those reviews are completed, I will send you a final message about Sweeps process stats including the total number of articles that were passed and failed. If you have one of these open reviews, be sure to update your count when the review is completed so I can compile the stats. You can except to receive your award for reviewing within the next week or two. Although the majority of the editors did not start Sweeps at the beginning in August 2007 (myself included), over 50 editors have all come together to complete a monumental task and improve many articles in the process. I commend you for sticking with this often challenging task and strengthening the integrity of the GA WikiProject as well as the GAs themselves. I invite you to take a break from reviewing (don't want you to burn out!) and then consider returning/starting to review GANs and/or contribute to GAR reviews. With your assistance, we can help bring the backlog down to a manageable level and help inspire more editors to improve articles to higher classes and consider reviewing themselves. Again, thank you for putting up with difficult reviews, unhappy editors, numerous spam messages from me, and taking the time to help with the process, I appreciate your efforts! --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 02:29, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

Would you still be willing to hand out the award to the reviewers when it is convenient for you? You can either wait until the ~30 articles are completely finished, or hand them out now if you'd like. --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 02:29, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
Yea, I can do it. I've got a hugely important test Wednesday that I'm studying for, then some other homework before a three day vacation/wikimeet this weekend followed by a short spring break next week. Sooooo, I'll do it next week! Thanks for everything you did with sweeps. That's awesome. And completed two years earlier than expected too. Lara 03:07, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
No worries, school comes first. And this was definitely a team effort, otherwise we'd be stuck later on in the decade still working on it. I'm just glad that it's over so I can hopefully spend more time on content building. Of course, have to knock out a few other projects first... --Happy editing! Undeletion of Colin Ramirez

Hi Jennavecia, I posted a request for undeletion in here and I was redirected to you (it was the first undeletion request I've made, so I didn't know the process well yet).

I'd like to ask you to restore Colin Ramirez. As far as I understand, the article was deleted on the grounds of lack of notability. I agree with that as it's easy to prove that Colin Ramirez is not notable enough as a football player. However, what makes him notable is the fact that he's the better and most well-known Gibraltarian football player. See for instance here (it's in Spanish, but I can provide a full translation if required), where he is described as the "best local [Gibraltarian] football player in the last decades" [el mejor futbolista local de las últimas décadas], what makes him notable enough to have an article (the same reference also describes how he was tested by Málaga CF, a Spanish professional team, in 1989, when Malaga played in La Liga, although he didn't get the post as there was a limitation on the number of foreign players). I think it makes him notable enough to deserve an article or, at least, to reopen a discussion on its merits. Best regards and thank you for your time --Ecemaml (talk) 12:42, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

Personally, I think that image is harsh and nasty as it exists and both crops are lousy pictures. Yes, I tried to crop it better, but there is no improving it. But it isn't your photo. As for the revert last night, what I seem to remember is that there was some sort of drivel written after the date, but after I looked I had both pages open and it was this one that I thought was there. I have a vision disability and tracking is an issue. I may have mixed it up with something else, but I have no "deal". I actually went out of my way to ensure that you were notified when Chowbok tried to dispute the license on it. I don't know what your deal is, but a little civility never hurt anyone. Wildhartlivie (talk) 19:04, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

I'm plenty civil considering your history of pointlessly reverting my completely appropriate edits to that image. Your crop change opened it up to show her with messy hair. The point of the crop was to remove the mugshot as the main image on the page and present (with the only usable image we have available to us) a lead image that presents her in the best way possible. As opposed to changing my work and not even notifying me, you could have opened a discussion and suggested a wider crop, at which point I would have expressed my opinion that it defeats much of the purpose of creating a derivative of that work. I shouldn't have to watch that image like a hawk to ensure that my completely appropriate improvements aren't being pointlessly undone. Lara 19:24, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

BRC page

I have the design at User:Fetchcomms/Sandbox 6, tell me if anything should be changed. Thanks,  fetchcomms 14:52, 22 March 2010 (UTC)

OMG, dude. That is beyond awesome! Honourary membership into the BRC is yours! It's beautiful. Amazing job, srsly. Lara 17:09, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
Oh, only change: Put your signature at the bottom, credited as the designer. Lara 17:13, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
Done and copying over now. The only thing left is the meetup link, which I hope you can find in the messy code :P. You'll have to copy the code for the tab over and change the color to the lighter one on that page, like I'm doing for the talk page.  fetchcomms 20:55, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
Thanks a bunch! I'm sure I'll be able to figure it out. I'm pretty good with code when I take the time. Just don't have it anymore. :) Hope to see ya in IRC soon. Thanks again! Lara 00:24, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
Does this mean the BRC is undefuncting itself? --Jayron32 21:04, 27 March 2010 (UTC)
Okay, so funk would be smelly. So defunk would be to get un-smelly. Thus, undefunking would be to get smelly again? Oh, defunct. Right. Misheard you there. Yes, we're undefunking, I mean undefuncting... both, maybe. ;) Lara 21:55, 27 March 2010 (UTC)
It could also be getting this stuff back...--Jayron32 00:35, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

April 2010 GAN backlog elimination drive

WikiProject Good Articles will be running a GAN backlog elimination drive for the entire month of April. The goal of this drive is to bring the number of outstanding Good Article nominations down to below 200. This will help editors in restoring confidence to the GAN process as well as actively improving, polishing, and rewarding good content. If you are interested in participating in the drive, please place your name here. Awards will be given out to those who review certain numbers of GANs as well as to those who review the most. Hope we can see you in April.

You get a thank you too

Thank you for helping to initiate this process which led to many articles being improved while allowing for inadequate articles to be properly delisted. This was a monumental task, completed over the long-term—both of which are very difficult to get accomplished on Wikipedia. You deserve this medal for your dedicated efforts in helping to organize Sweeps and for reviewing articles, and also as a bribe to never ever start another Sweeps again! Keep up the great work! --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 06:15, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

Re: Raleigh 2

See, the problem with abducting EVula is that he has his harem and theatre fellows to protect him. They're vicious folk, especially the harem. But if it comes to that, he can have the trail mix...I'm keeping the crackers.

I really want to come...hopefully by then, this full time hiring process will be over and I'll have some more money to play with. You just need to convince EVula to not be so busy all the time!

Hey, don't worry, we all have our psychoses. Mine is...well...we won't get into that. Huntster (t @ c) 16:35, 17 April 2010 (UTC)

EVula said he should be able to come. June is open for him. I mean, if you're thinking that you might not be able to pull it together, maybe I should suggest he abduct you... I mean, no. I'm uh, just sayin' that... Oh, look! A Jimbo! Lara 16:44, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
Wow, you actually pulled a "Jimbo"? That reeks of desperation! Huntster (t @ c) 18:29, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
NO U! Lara 20:28, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
Really? That's gonna be a dull party. bahamut0013wordsdeeds 21:04, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
Things didn't pan out. Ironholds, as much as he <3s me and Bully, isn't flying over this time. Current plans for that day leave for the possibility that we'll be there, but it seems unlikely at the moment. That's what I'm saying, though. May need to reschedule BRC 3. Lara 19:21, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

User:AniMate

User: Animate or what ever his name is, He always having probelms with me about my spelling and grammar. I know that my spelling and grammar are not the best but no one is prefect when it comes to this. Just because I have often spelling and grammars mistakes, He should not be always confronting me about a problem that I already know about. All I am asking is that u talk to him/her and ask them to back off my back. Its been causing me more stress then I need. Please and Thank you.--M42380 (talk) 05:00, 26 May 2010 (UTC)

I'm not sure why you've sought out my talk page. I'm neither an admin nor an active editor. WP:AN/I would be a more appropriate venue for this request. I suggest providing evidence in the form of diffs (links of edits (found on the history pages of, well, all pages)). Regards, Lara 19:19, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

Guild of Copy Editors Backlog Elimination Drive

Hello. I noticed you are a copy editor. I was wondering if you would like to participate in the Guild of Copy Editors July backlog elimination drive? The Guild would much appreciate it if you could participate. Thank you. The Utahraptor Talk 19:22, 24 June 2010 (UTC)

Hello

Been awhile, wondering if you're still around... Jmlk17 21:19, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Not really. I drop in occasionally to check on my pet articles and to drop some humor where it's clearly needed. Otherwise, not around. Lara 21:23, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
Busy plotting? I'm cautiously optimistic. Skomorokh 22:40, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

GAR

I know you're busy but I'm just letting you know that I filed a GAR on Jeff Buckley, which you passed as GA. You can read the reassessment here. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many ottersOne batOne hammer) 17:00, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

meetup?

Hi there,

I got your name from the Wikimedia:Meetup/Ohio 1 page. I will be in Columbus Aug 8-11 and was wondering if any Wikimedians would be interested in meeting up then. If so, I started Wikipedia:Meetup/Ohio 2 for quick planning :) best, -- phoebe / (talk to me) 17:37, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Pending changes/Straw poll on interim usage

Hi. As you recently commented in the straw poll regarding the ongoing usage and trial of Pending changes, this is to notify you that there is an interim straw poll with regard to keeping the tool switched on or switching it off while improvements are worked on and due for release on November 9, 2010. This new poll is only in regard to this issue and sets no precedent for any future usage. Your input on this issue is greatly appreciated. Off2riorob (talk) 23:37, 20 September 2010 (UTC)

Minor request

I placed the following on the talk page of East718 without noticing the redirection to this page:

For historical interest could you undelete User:Uga Man/presidential campaign, 2008 and the accompanying image? I'm very interested to see how it looks.--Uga Man 00:01, 26 November 2010 (UTC)

Since East is away, I was hoping you could complete the request.

Thank you for your time. --Uga Man 02:36, 26 November 2010 (UTC)

I'm not an admin anymore, so I can't undelete pages. Lara 02:46, 26 November 2010 (UTC)

CAPS LOCK

<redacted post removed>

It looks like it's being handled. My awesomeness aside, you need to declare your connection to the company on your user page. Also, ease up on the CAPS; no one likes to be yelled at for no reason. ;) Lara 21:39, 8 December 2010 (UTC)

Redaction notice

Because of the potential issues around the above message (see OTRS ticket:2010120810017962), I've redacted practically all of Brooklyner (talk · contribs)'s edits, including the one he made on this talk page asking for your help and alluding to financial things. In short: there's a good chance he's trying to manipulate stock prices by spreading libel. Because doing this is a felony in the US, and because we don't want him to use Wikipedia as a soapbox, I think the best thing to do is redact the edits in question. Please accept my apologies for doing this to your talk page - I'm aware it might not be strictly under the redaction policy but I think it's necessary given the circumstances. Please contact me if you have any questions, and once again, I'm sorry if this is impolite! Chase me ladies, I'm the Cavalry (talk) 22:50, 8 December 2010 (UTC)

I am intensely offended by these actions that have desecrated my talk page! Or something. I'm going to go start a discussion on this matter on a noticeboard somewhere! Ya, that's what I'll do. >_> Lara 23:43, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
*swoon* yay drama! (hope all is well, :D) --Rocksanddirt (talk) 00:54, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
Of course it is! Just a newb with an agenda. He was apparently told that I am "awesome at Wikipedia." Not sure who told him that... maybe he saw that my high score is >9,000! Lara 02:08, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
What the Hell are you doing here? Shouldn't you be studying? Malleus Fatuorum 02:39, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
._. Yes. Lara 02:53, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
I'll likely be studying myself next year. I'm a bit worried though that wikipedia might not be able to manage without me. Malleus Fatuorum 02:57, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
I often worry the same. However, sometimes you have to look out for #1. If the project falls due to your departure... so be it. Lara 04:17, 9 December 2010 (UTC)

Nordic race

I have nominated Nordic race for GA reassessment, an article you have previously shown interest in. The criteria have tightened quite a lot since it was last reviewed more than two years ago, and it currently fails on several criteria, some of which are serious. I hope you'll participate in the discussion.·Maunus·ƛ· 18:47, 12 December 2010 (UTC)

I don't think I've ever edited that article or its talk page, so I'm confused as to why you'd drop this message on my talk page. Lara 03:00, 13 December 2010 (UTC)
You nominated it for GA reassessment two years ago. The reassessment ended as no consensus - but the GA criteria have tightened a lot since then as I said. I am just courtesy notifying you as you previously nominated the article for reassessment.·Maunus·ƛ· 03:04, 13 December 2010 (UTC)
Sorry! you didn't nominate it, you closed the reassessment nomination! just disregard this notice if you don't care about the article. ·Maunus·ƛ· 03:07, 13 December 2010 (UTC)
Haha! I was about to respond "If you say so!" XD Lara 03:08, 13 December 2010 (UTC)

It looks like there is a Dana Ullman issue brewing over at ANI. Didn't you mentor some users involved in that some years ago? Thought you might be interested... --Jayron32 00:46, 27 December 2010 (UTC)

I mentored him. I'll check it out. Thanks. Lara 00:51, 27 December 2010 (UTC)
