File copyright problem with File:Mr. Klutz is Nuts book cover.jpg
editThank you for uploading File:Mr. Klutz is Nuts book cover.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Polly (Parrot) 16:36, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
You reverted an entry I made to the Talk page "Simon Langham". My computer skills are few, and I have difficulty operating Wikipedia; I never delete any text other than my own, and wanted to replace a passage I had pasted. As I have no copy, could you please replace this entry?Colcestrian (talk) 02:10, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- Hi. I'm not Impala2009, but I saw your request and decided to complete it. Please see Talk:Simon Langham for your comment, which has been added back. I hope that was what you wanted; please tell me if I made a mistake. Thanks, The Earwig (Talk | Contribs) 05:07, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- Colcestrian said on his talk page that's not what he wanted. Well, I don't know what he wanted. Maybe the solution is to try to understand what he is staying. Impala2009 | Talk 00:52, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
ACC tool
editThank you for applying to access the account creation tool. Unfortunately I was unable to process your request. The ACC tool is a powerful program, and at the present time your account is either too new for us to determine whether you would know how to properly use the tool or that you have not attained the necessary level of trust to be granted access. Please don't take this personally and feel free to contact me if you have any questions. FunPika 00:53, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
Users' talk pages
editIt appears you have been in a conflict with 92.239.38.135 (talk · contribs) about them removing comments from their talk page. I'm writing to make you aware that users (including anonymous IP editors) are allowed to remove warnings and comments from their talk pages. Doing so is considered acknowledgment of having read them. Restoring warnings and comments to other users' talk pages after they have removed them is considered disruption. There are important exceptions to this:
- Editors are not allowed to remove declined
{{unblock}}
requests before the block expires - Editors are not allowed to remove information about shared IP addresses, such as
{{sharedIPEDU}}
- Editors are not allowed to removed confirmed
{{sockpuppet}}
or confirmed{{sockpuppeteer}}
tags from their talk pages.
I hope this clears things up. Toddst1 (talk) 15:36, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

- I have read it. Thank for leaving that important note. Probably after you actually accept for real, I should create it. Sorry, Chevy Impala 2009 05:25, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

User:Paradise Daytona Beach
editI don't think you should have reverted this edit of User:Paradise Daytona Beach on the talk page Talk:Bill Frist. This user was trying to make a genuine enquiry about changes in article space after being given a 3RR warning for edit warring. He did put his comment in the wrong place, and did not sign it, but that is no reason to revert. Martin451 (talk) 01:45, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
False Positive Warning Message
editI believe that you gave me a warning message when I didn't make any unconstructive edits. I was just putting the article for speedy deletion because the article both had no notability and it's an attack page. -- 科学高爾夫迷 01:56, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
- The reason I blanked the article was because it tells you to blank the article so it only contains the deletion template, according to here. Template:Db-g10#Parameters Thanks, -- 科学高爾夫迷 02:03, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
- I see what you mean, but since the template is based on an attack page, the content is supposed to be blanked so other people don't see the disparaging content in the page. And if the article is originally blank, a filter would be triggered to disallow the article to be published. Hope that helps. -- 科学高爾夫迷 02:22, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
Illegal Move?
editIs 4... F4 a legal chess move? Doesn't seem like it. Pawns can't move three squares in one go! Set Sail For The Seven Seas 273° 45' 00" NET 18:15, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
- LOL ... I didn't even look at the move history to notice that. The pawn must have superpowers! ;) --B (talk) 19:32, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
- That pawn had more than superpowers, it could have lost white the game! Set Sail For The Seven Seas 301° 30' 00" NET 20:06, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

ANI thread
editHi, I have started a discussion at WP:ANI about the disruption at History of terrorism that you may be involved in. Quantpole (talk) 08:48, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Lute88
editWould you kindly explain your reasons for reporting User:Lute88 for vandalism? His edits to Ave Maria (Caccini) are perfectly legitimate - he added Russian language sources for the information in the article. He described them as such, too, and used the right formatting for references. What exactly is the problem, and why was it necessary to revert his edits and report him as a vandal, rather than request a translation? --Jashiin (talk) 16:46, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
- Adding a reference, whatever language it is in, is NOT vandalism. Simply reverting it is NOT the way to deal with it, and reporting a content-editor who adds references as a vandal is, to put it extremely mildly, assuming bad faith. You should've asked for a translation, or at least revert AND ask for a translation in your edit summary. --Jashiin (talk) 16:53, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
- Your actions with this user were less than stellar. I would be interested in an explanation of how adding a source to an article is vandalism. Your actions were also damaging, since you managed to get him blocked. On reviewing the situation, had I been the admin handling your request, I would have been more likely to block you for removing good faith contributions without discussion. Please mind that behavior in the future. --Andy Walsh (talk) 17:37, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
Illegal Move!!
editThe pawn can't take the queen. It's pinned by the bishop on C5! Set Sail For The Seven Seas 276° 15' 00" NET 18:25, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
- And to answer your question, Impala2009, no, I'm not an alcoholic. That's actually extremely offensive. I don't drink at all because I don't believe in mind-altering substances. There is nothing whatsoever good that can come from it and the ills that can come from alcohol can be disastrous. When I was young, I lost a good friend to a drunk driving incident. As I said in the comment, your only legal move of was KH1 because the pawn is pinned by the bishop. The world's following move would have been QxH4+. Then if KG1, then QG3, KH1, BxF2. If KG2, then NF6. --B (talk) 21:08, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
