Wikipedia isn't a blog or a journal edit

Hi, Wikipedia isn't a blog or a journal: WP:NOTJOURNAL, consider if the content is encyclopedic before you add them to the pages. In any case, WP:BEBOLD but please make sure you cite reliable, published sources for any and every content you add to articles. Citing content from libraries of Dawat e Hadiyah or Aljamea tus Saifiyah is fine, too.

Wikipedia isn't the place for publishing or authoring content even if it is known to be true: WP:NOORIGINALRESEARCH. Only if it the content is published by reliable sources may you add it to the page.

Also, Wikipedia isn't a place for platitudes, appeal to authority, and hyperbole: see WP:NPOV and WP:DUE for the style to employ whilst writing articles.

Special care must be taken for articles of living persons. Any content on biography of living persons that is present without citations can and will be removed at any given time without warning. It is better to cite third party sources, whilst self-published first-party sources okay only in some very specific cases. Read: WP:BLP.

Also, please refrain from uploading copyrighted images unless of course you own copyright to them.

I encourage you to abide by the rules and contribute sensibly. Murtaza.aliakbar (talk) 10:58, 14 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Aliasgar Kalimuddin edit

The article Aliasgar Kalimuddin has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. ‡ Єl Cid of Valencia talk 19:47, 14 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

July 2020 edit

  Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Ravensfire (talk) 20:12, 14 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

  Please do not add or change content, as you did at Tina Datta, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Everything you add to an article MUST be backed up by a reliable source. You can read that page for help on what is a reliable source and what isn't, and the HELP:CITE page on how to include those sources in your edit. Ravensfire (talk) 15:39, 15 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Whatever I right about Tina dutta was correct Hmkwfrance (talk) 18:41, 15 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hmkwfrance, and if it's not sourced, how would a reader verify that? That's a core concept of Wikipedia, the ability of a reader to verify what's written in the article and is the basis of the sourcing requirement. So "Whatever" is not a good response and conflicts with Wikipedia's core principles. Ravensfire (talk) 19:04, 15 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

  Hello, Hmkwfrance. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Dawoodi Bohra, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Ravensfire (talk) 00:56, 19 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Syedi Hasan Feer, you may be blocked from editing. Ravensfire (talk) 15:20, 26 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you aren't sure how, see the Reliable Source page for what is a reliable source and HELP:CITE on how to use them. Ravensfire (talk) 15:21, 26 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Saifee Mahal moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Saifee Mahal, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Also, please be aware that the article was deleted several years ago - WP:Articles_for_deletion/Saifee_Mahal. You need to make sure that any concerns there are addressed or it may end up deleted again. Ravensfire (talk) 21:51, 20 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

U plz remove Qasim Hakimuddin draft page make it to a Wikipedia page Hmkwfrance (talk) 15:39, 28 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hmkwfrance, that page has zero references. None. Please, you need to understand that using reliable sources on Wikipedia articles isn't optional. It's in draft space to give you the time to add those references and to better show why this person is notable. I've added the AFC Draft template, so when you think it's ready, you'll just need to click on the button. It will then go in the queue to be reviewed. As the article is right now, I can guarantee it would be rejected for lack of sources, hence my comments... The review can take while to happen, there's a lot of articles pending review. There's no time limit here, so don't worry about how long it takes, just use the time to continue improving that article (more reliable sources!!) or other articles. Ravensfire (talk) 16:11, 28 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please, this is wikipidea and as a wikipedian I have to follow certain rules so without any citations I am unable to make it live, before moving it to main space please add citations, as far as I concerned I am unable to find any third party reference regarding Qasim Hakimuddin, so I may not help you, I am helping you with Saify Mahal as I can find indepth coverage of it, if you're agree to improve the article Saify Mahal, please ask on my special page which I have created for your help, please do not talk again to move Qasim Hakimuddin in mainspace until and unless you find the sources, again you are welcome in my special userpage regarding saify mahal Fisha Malik (talk) 16:11, 28 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Qasim Hakimuddin edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Qasim Hakimuddin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from thedawoodibohras.com/2018/04/05/obituary-mazoon-al-dawat-syedi-qasim-bhaisaheb-hakimuddin. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. July 2020 edit

  Your addition to Abbas Fakhruddin has been removed in whole or in part, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. You've entirely copy-pasted text from a source into a Wikipedia article. Don't do that - that's a copyright issue. I've removed the text and have asked for the version to be revision deleted. You must entirely rewrite the text, completely, in your own words. The text was also highly promotional - this isn't an obituary written by a religious group, but an encyclopedia article. Zeninfosys edit

You've used this in various article and there's zero information about this source that I can find. Can you describe the source? Forums? User-submitted material? How does this meet reliable source criteria? Is it a primary source? Ravensfire (talk) 13:36, 29 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

The recent creating of articles in main article space rather than improving the draft articles already out there and you just copy-pasted text from a source was the final straw. • What is copyright?
  • How is Wikipedia licenced?

  • Under what circumstances can we use copyrighted content?
  • How do you intend to avoid violating the copyright policy in the future?

In answering these questions, you literally violated copyright by copying and pasting your answers from elsewhere. Unfortunately, this proves pretty conclusively you either don't understand copyright or have no intention of abiding by copyright. --Yamla (talk) 10:03, 19 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

I didn't copy-paste and I abiding copyrights

Will u plz unblock me? Hmkwfrance (talk) 10:44, 19 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

This is simply not true and will count against you in any future unblock request. You directly copied and pasted from Wikipedia:FAQ/Copyright, at the very least. --Yamla (talk) 10:47, 19 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

STOP edit

YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY STOP copying and pasting copyrighted content from other sources and placing it here. IMMEDIATELY STOP. Any further instances of this and I will be required to remove your talk page access. This is your final warning. --Yamla (talk) 10:49, 19 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

I also see over at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Hmkwfrance/Archive that you've been extensively evading the block on this account. Given the combination of your blatant copyright violations and your recent block evasion, there's frankly no realistic possibility you'll be unblocked at this time. Your best bet (though it's slim, given how abusive you've been and continue to be) is to wait six months with zero edits, then apply under WP:SO. At that point, you'll need to address your continued copyright violations and your extensive block evasion. I'm sorry I didn't have better news for you. Hopefully this time gives you an opportunity to better familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines and decide if you wish to stop being so abusive. --Yamla (talk) 10:53, 19 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

But plz unblock I will abide your policy and condition. Plz unblock me and allow me to edit Hmkwfrance (talk) 12:37, 19 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

I will not do so, and I strongly suggest no other admin is likely to do so either, not until at least six months have passed since your last edit. --Yamla (talk) 12:38, 19 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

plz unblock me Hmkwfrance (talk) 12:22, 23 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you wish to make another unblock request, do so, but I would note that your best route is to wait 6 months to make another unblock request and in that time also not edit Wikipedia using any other account or IP address. At that point, with you showing understanding of the copyright policy and why sockpuppetry is disruptive, an unblock request may be accepted. However, at this point an unblock request is very unlikely to be accepted. Dreamy Jazz talk to me | my contributions 13:31, 23 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
