Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Suggestion for notability tagging

Hi Hermera34! When you add a {{notability}} tag on an article, could you please try to use a parameter to point to the specific guideline? For example, on An Ember in the Ashes I changed the tag to {{notability|books}} so it links to the notability guideline for books. Similarly, on Sabaa Tahir I changed the tag to {{notability|bio}} so it links to the notability guideline for biographies. (See the entire list of parameters at Template:Notability.) Hopefully this will encourage the article creator to read the appropriate guideline and improve the article accordingly. Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 01:52, 11 September 2015 (UTC)

CEO's of Multi-Billion Dollar Company's not Notable?

Hey Hermera, I was curious as to why you added the {{notability}} tag on the Neil Smit article. He's the CEO of a Fortune 50 company, a billionaire and a former U.S. Navy SEAL. I am removing the tag and suggesting you review the notability guideline for biographies. Thanks for cleaning up the info box though. I'd appreciate your further positive collaboration on the development of the article. Tadpole256 (talk) 14:25, 11 September 2015 (UTC)

You also added {{BLP unsourced}} when the article contained two references. {{BLP sources}} would have been more appropriate. Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 02:55, 12 September 2015 (UTC)

Benjamin Uphoff

He played in the 3. Liga and clearly meets WP:NSOCCER. --79.250.28.111 (talk) 16:29, 12 September 2015 (UTC)

FYI - for sportspeople, {{notability|sports}} is more appropriate than {{notability|bio}}. {{notability|sports}} will cause the tage to link to Wikipedia:Notability (sports), and WP:NSOCCER is a shortcut to Wikipedia:Notability (sports)#Association football. Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 17:17, 12 September 2015 (UTC)

Ibrahim Garba

Hello Hermera34,

Thanks for patrolling new pages, Wikipedia appreciate your help. I reverted one or more of your edits to the above article because it doesn't appears constructive. Why do you think you need additional sources to verify the fact that he's the incumbent VC of Ahmadu Bello University? I can see that other editors had raised similar concern on your talk page. Please do not tag pages if you are not familiar with policies. Warm regards! Wikigyt@lk to M£ 20:13, 13 September 2015 (UTC)

New Page Patrol

Hi. Thank you for patrolling new pages. I noticed that you tagged Takbirut Tashreeq but you didn't inform the creator. If article creators are not informed of attention that is required to their articles, especially essential referencing, chances are that nothing will be done about it. I notice also that you are a very new user and that you would generally need a lot more experience before trying your hand at patrolling nw pages. There are easier tasks such as Counter Vandalism that woukld enable you to get your feet wet on maintenance tasks more easily. Now that you have over 200 mainspace edits you can enroll at the WP:CVUA to learn more about it. Happy editing! --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 06:35, 15 September 2015 (UTC)

Also, it is absolutely not possible to patroll pages at a rate of one every 15 seconds if it's being done properly. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 08:12, 15 September 2015 (UTC)

I started out with putting {{welcome}} on User talk:Online786786 - you can go from there. Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 02:12, 16 September 2015 (UTC)

Hello, I'm MrX. I noticed that you removed a Biographies of Living Persons PROD, from Bhagyalaxmi Pani, and I wanted to let you know that I have replaced it. Please don't remove these Biographies of Living Persons PRODs from articles unless they contain at least one reliable source or were created before 18 March 2010. If you oppose the deletion of an article under this process, please consider adding reliable sources to the article or commenting at the respective talk page. Thank you. - MrX 15:09, 26 September 2015 (UTC)

I did not delete this BLP tag, but added it to the other one I posted. As such, I returned this back to my latest updated edit. Please relook at the page again and let me know if you cannot find your original tag. Thanks, Hermera34 (talk) 15:20, 26 September 2015 (UTC)
I understand that, but please see my edit summary and the response on my talk page. - MrX 15:23, 26 September 2015 (UTC)
